Overview:
I finished a campaign of New California, the massive prequel/DLC sized mod, formerly known as Project Brazil. I used a fresh New Vegas install, no mods. Started a new modded Fallout NV game and immediately I missed using some of the cool weapons and armors I used in the San Bernardinio Mountains, as my NV character was a "matured" (blown-up, shot) version of my New California character.
I was hoping someone had made a small mod that allowed easy access to New California gear and weapons for use (and hoping they didn't dump said boxes of goodies in Goodsprings). One existed for early Project Brazil, but it was only a couple of items...and it was placed in Goodsprings :/
Until the New California beta is finished and you can continue to NV on the same save (and possibly keep some of your gear), this should solve your Wasteland Scout itch.
Details:
This mod adds several crates filled with armor and weapons from New California to New Vegas, in "Hidden Supply Cave". As far as I can tell no other mod uses this area, and on the off chance they do...the crates will be up and out of the way on top of the static crates inside, in the vanilla layout.
- Location: Hidden Supply Cave
- Several "Project Purity" crates stacked high (see images)
- Lion's Share of the Armors and Weapons from New California, if I missed any let me know in the comments!
- If you have a male body replacer (Breeze, Roberts etc) some of the male outfits will show messed up texture because they have not been made to be compatible with said male body replacers. Female (Type 3 and variants) wont' see the same level of messed up textures because of the UV paths.
REQUIRES NEW CALIFORNIA TO BE INSTALLED!
100% Compatible with Wheel of Fortune side quest in New Vegas

This is version 1.0, this was a mad hustle done in about 45 min, including pics. A neater (labeled boxes via category etc) is in the works.
