I made this mod because I don't like how the Rebreather looks, and I don't like having to constantly switch between the Breathing Mask and the Rebreather for in and out of water. Note: There is no visual difference between the default Breathing Masks and this mod, only the addition of Water Breathing.
This mod adds 2 new items to the game, the Rebreather Mask and Ulysses' Rebreather Mask.
KNOWN ISSUE: When crafting and equipping the new mask for the first time, it will have improper textures. I don't know what causes this given it uses the exact same mesh as vanilla, but all you need to do to fix it is save and restart the game.
You can convert these items at the workbench (under the Misc tab) with the following materials:
Note for conversion: be sure to unequip the mask before converting, otherwise the effect will get stuck!
I made two versions for the two different Breathing Masks, the normal one for people who have radiation-centric characters (or want less rad resistance in general) and Ulysses' variant for people who want higher radiation resistance.
I've also added recipes to convert the masks back to their default variants. You also craft these at the workbench (under the Misc tab) with the following materials:
You can also use the Easier Recipes addon if you don't want to gather all those materials, or lose the default mask in the process.
Note for Uninstallation: If you use this mod and convert your mask(s), be sure to convert them back to the default variant at a workbench before uninstalling or you will lose them!
