DESCRIPTION
The Coreburner carried by Snake Plissken in Escape from L.A. was probably the coolest part of an otherwise pretty-forgettable movie. While not as iconic as the Pulse Rifle from Aliens or even the MORITA from Starship Troopers, I still thought it was cool enough that I wanted to try my hand at making something similar.

I started with the base game Marksman Carbine mesh and lengthened the bolt and magazine well before adding the drum magazine from the Bozar, the enlarged trigger guard from the 12.7mm SMG, the night vision scope from the Varmint Rifle, and the handguards from both the Assault Carbine and the Light Machine Gun.

Gameplay-wise, this weapon deals low damage but with a high rate-of-fire. It also sets targets on fire and can be repaired with the Assault Carbine. I chose to use the 5mm cartridge for this gun because it's cheap and plentiful, so you can afford to hose down targets with hot, burning death. I've also added the weapon to all the appropriate form lists, so that all perks and challenges that affect automatic weapons or fire-based weapons, such as Pyromaniac, will work as expected.

LOCATION
The only instance of the weapon in the game can be found on the body of a mercenary in NCR-controlled territory.

Spoiler:
Show
The body is located at the base of a wall outside of Camp McCarran, near the control tower. The closest map marker location is the El Rey Motel.

Of course, if you're feeling lazy, you can always use the following console commands (Substitute ## with the number of the mod in your load order):

player.AddItem ##000ADE 1 ;Gives 1 Coreburner

INSTALLATION
Extract all the files in the archive to your New Vegas data folder (which is the same folder where FalloutNV.esm is located) and then enable the ESP either in your mod manager of choice, or under "Data Files" in the launcher that runs when you start up New Vegas.
