About this mod

A very simple mod to tweak certain items in A Tale of Two Wastelands - Hardcore mode. Presently changes chems, magazines, Food and Junk items, and Quest item weights.

This mod is simple in scope.  Presently the following changes are included:

VERSION 1.06
changes in this version are in this color

DLC
Quest and Misc. Item weights have been tweaked across all 9 DLCs.  The most significant change is that alien crystals now have weight.

Junk Items
Many Junk items have had their weights adjusted, mostly items which were weightless previously, and also where it made sense for certain item weights to change.
examples:
Pack of cigarettes has been reduced to .2, because a carton of cigarettes has 10 packs, and weighs 2 units.  The value of a single pack of cigarettes has also been brought in line to reflect that of a full carton.
Scrap metal has been increased to 1.5 pounds, because it looks like a bulky item, and also to help cut down on easily spamming xp for mini-quests
Utensils and surgical tools now weigh a reasonable amount (a spoon is .2 instead of 1 units)

Quest Items
Many quest items now have weight.  Some of them are quite significant, so plan ahead.

examples:
Virgo II Dish weighs 10 units -- it is a big and bulky item
Cook-Cook's (and other fiend leaders) head weighs 8 units, the mangled variety 6.5  Removed because although the heads were showing weight when examined, they were actually still weightless.  Not sure why.
ears, fingers, and dog tags have weight (0.15, 0.2, 0.15)

Food
Stews, noodles, and some other 'fresh' food items (Softshell Mirelurk meat; for example) will hydrate you slightly.
All packaged pre-war food items have had their weight adjusted slightly and rads increased moderately.  All packaged pre-war food items now also increase your dehydration level.
Most packaged foods have weight decreased to .75, with the exception of Sugar Bombs.
Junk Food (Potato Crisps) has been reduced to .4; so as to be inline with the new Potato Crisps varieties added by AWOP (not a required mod, but heavily recommended)
Most pre-war food has had rads increased from +3 to +10.   The irradiated versions are +30 rads.
No changes have been made to Drink items yet.

Chems

All chems have weight.  (Usually .2 or .25, depending on the item)
All drugs have had their addiction chance raised slightly.  "Hardcore" drugs (Med-X, Psycho and Slasher) have been increased the most.
All drugs/chems will dehydrate you.  This includes Rad-x and Rad-Away, but not stimpaksUltraJet, Turbo and Fixer will dehydrate you the most.
Doctor's Bag (Technically not a chem, but I am mentioning it here) weight has been increased significantly (to 2.25), and changes in magnitude from JSawyer mod have been forwarded.  Doctor Bags are a big and bulky item, and being able to carry 50 just trivializes doctors and hardcore mode.

Skill Magazines
All Magazines have weight (.1)
The default bonus has been reduced from +10 to +5; Comprehension doubles the value to +10 (vanilla was +20)
Police Stories critical chance reduced from +5 to +3; Comprehension doubles the value to +6 (vanilla was +10)
The default duration for all skill magazines has been increased from 60 seconds to 90 seconds; Retention increases the duration 4.5 minutes (vanilla was 3 minutes)

Magazines were more powerful than chems, and with no ill effects.  This should alleviate some of that "problem". Since they are so abundant, I feel magazines should be loot to sell for most characters, as such the value of magazines has increased slightly, from 20 to 25 caps.  Police Stories is worth 30 caps.

This mod will be updated as I play through TTW and find things I think need to be adjusted for a slightly more hardcore experience.
Please report any problems, oversights, or inconsistencies and feel free to offer suggestions.

This mod is very simple, and will always be safe to update during a playthrough.

Load after sawyerbatty.esp if you are using that mod.
I recommend playing TTW with BLEED on at least Hard Difficulty (and Hardcore mode turned on, obviously)
