About this mod

This mod is an expansion on Casino's Exchange All.

i added to it more NCR currency, for high-rollers.

the currency rate remains the same, vanilla NCR money is included in this as it uses their base item. casino's exchange all currency, all traders should accept currency and have change to pay for the higher bills.

Did you ever wonder how you get all these NCR workers being payed in NCR cash, but none of them ever actually having NCR money?
how about the traders who happely trade with NCR caravans, who supposedly use NCR money, but never have it?
all those NCR tourists on the strip, did they all change their NCR notes to bottlecaps?
basically, where is all the NCR money?

in addition, max $100? the highest bill the NCR has is worth 40 9mm bullets?  that's just silly. why not 500? why not 5000?, or 10000!
then this mod is for you!

but what does this mod do?

1) it does everything "Casino's Exchange all" does, adjusted to take and pay the new currency's.

2) it adds the following NCR notes: $10, $50, $200, $500, $1000, $5000, $10000, all values set just like vanilla money, ratio 4caps/$10NCR and a "$Penny NCR", value 1 cap.

3) npc's  who have NCR money (powder gangers, soldiers) will have a chance to spawn the $10 and $50 bills, vanilla they stop at $100 so i stopped there to. due to how spawning works they spawn a bit less in value..

3) it adds NCR money to appropriate traders. meant to be change to give to players, richer traders have more money and bigger bills.

4) those traders's caps have been reduced, to make the money more usefull. ncr traders pay you in ncr money.

5) an optional patch is available wich will see Weight added to the currency, including caps, to further make the money more usefull optional.

6) several patches for mod compatibility are available, check the "requirements" for a list.

7) when i get to the DLC's, i'll add a patch for those to.

value of the bills, vanilla and mod.
$Penny  - 1 cap
$5            - 2 caps
$10         - 4 caps
$20         - 8 caps
$50         - 20 caps
$100       - 40 caps
$200       - 80 caps
$500       - 200 caps
$1000    - 400 caps
$5000    - 2000 caps
$10000  - 4000 caps

notes:
be sure to check the "requirements" thingy for compatibility mods with (my personal favorite) 3rd party mods such as "nipton rebuilt" or "New Vegas Trade Center"

the new money is set to spawn when traders reset their stock, give it a couple days for existing savegames. it should start straight away for new characters.

to remove/uninstall the mod, go to a casino with all your NCR money, swap it for chips, then caps. save the game and exit, now you can safely remove the mod. it makes no permanent changes, you just have to make sure you do not have any NCR money (5, 20 and 100 should be fine).

to exchange lower value NCR money for chips, use the "i want to change all my NCR money" option, it takes it.

Casino's are the only method to obtain the notes from $5000 and $10000. altough you could use them as simple money swappers, they will always payout the highest notes first, and work their way down, you'll have high value bills but no pocket change.

to use the money for payment, barter it. the money always has it's cap value. casino's and trader npc's will also swap caps and money.
legion gets no love, they do not support the accumulation of wealth under an invididual and their money already holds value.

the ncr money only works for barter, for scripted payment, or most quest rewards, it is payed out in caps as it is in vanilla, maybe later i'll make an optional file for that, it would be a drastic change in the game, much more sensitive to bugs then what i did now. most services (doctors) should have enough caps in their barter inventory to buy your NCR money, then you can use those caps to pay for your drug addiction cure, the new vegas clinic should have plenty.

the latest version is a first test, please report back your findings, if merchants need more/less money, more petty change to ease transactions, or any wrong merchants having the wrong money.

the mod does not contain new pictures, for the $50, $500 and $5000 bill, the picture of the $5 bill is used, for the $10, $1000 and $10000 bill, the $100 picture and for the $200 bill, the $20 picture

it is advised to carry smaller bills with you for trade, just like irl. merchants should have spare bills of their own, but the general store in goodsprings does not have change for a $10000 bill... gun runners do.

an easy way to trade for $500 bills (value 200 caps) in infinite amounts is to install New Vegas Trade Center mod ( https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42653 ) and the optional compatibility patch.

i made this mod and it's patches for my own amusement only, i share it for free out of a sense of fairness since i took some assets from other modders, if this mod makes you angry, don't bother commenting about it, i don't care.

Compatibility warning:
This mod requires only vanilla fallout NV to function.

This mod will be incompatible with any mod that changes NCR money or Casino exchanges. it changes the casino chashier scripts to add the new ncr money to it, any mod changing that script will break your method to obtain the higher value bills.

if a mod adds a new npc that has "NCRloot" or "NCRlootElite" in it's inventory (it spawns random vanilla NCR money) it should also add it to their inventory to, provided the mod does not change those records.
