    Fantastic, it still works even now in 2023 and on TTW.

    Thank you so much, lStewieAl

    is there an option to disable the popup while retaining the xp sound effect?

    I can't seem to figure out why this isnt working for me. I hate the xp sounds so much but I can't get rid of them for some reason. I tried a mod that just gets rid of the sound, and this one doesn't work either. Only removes the popups not the sound for me.

      It definitely should remove both, it's not possible for it to only remove the popups. Do you have NVSE installed and is the mod dll in Data/nvse/plugins?

      yeah, I thought it was an archive invalidation problem because it feels like it. I made a .esp that adds a deleted flag to the formid responsible for ui_popup_experience.wav so it really shouldn't even be playing. I have another mod that just adds a silent audio file in it's place. Then the mod here on this page. I tried all 3 individually, simultaneously. It just doesn't work. I've tried looking in FNVEdit cause I thought it was a different sound but after actually extracting and listening to it, it's definitely the sound, the game is just persistently playing the original. I made a video

      [/spoiler]
      here's the sound files: which I even converted to ogg and mp3 just in case.
      [/spoiler]
      your plugin:
      [/sooiler]
      the .esp file with the deleted flag:
      [/spoiler]

      I'm actually stumped.

      I’m not sure what else there is to try, is the silent file definitely removed?

      If you send me a link to the mods I can look into it.

      I figured it out. It was invalidation

      Okay so in FalloutCustom.ini TTW writes this:
      Spoiler:
      Show

      [Archive]
      SArchiveList=Fallout - Invalidation.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Meshes2.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa

      I had to make it like this:
      Spoiler:
      Show

      [Archive]
      SArchiveList=Fallout - Invalidation.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Meshes2.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa

      To confirm it wasn't me deleting the audio file that fixed it because I added the changes to the Custom.ini with the removal. I tested with the default [Archive] and with the modified version. Only this modification to the FalloutCustom.ini made it work. Your plugin, and the sound mod both work. Although in cinematic kills there's another wave sound that plays.

      OKAY NOW IM REALLY CONFUSED. The above ini tweaks really messed up a lot of things, audios did not play at all. So I set it back to the default. For some reason it just fixed itself. Really odd.

    Amazing work Stewie! I love seeing all your neat plugins!

    If you don't mind, I have a request! Could you please look into creating a plugin that allows you to choose when to level up, instead of being forced into the level up screen?

    Thank you for your contributions to the community!

    Don't know if it is possible to differentiate the sources of xp gains, but would it be possible to keep the Quest XP gain visible and with sound?
