Ive been home from my lengthy hospital stay for nearly two weeks. Things are getting much better. I still have to have surgeries over the next year to get a couple of joints replaced that were destroyed in the ordeal, but compared to what just happened, it seems pretty minor. Thank you for all the well-wishes over PM.
My highest priority now must be getting back on track with my degree. I'm a PhD candidate and I currently have four articles and six conference papers to write. I have to get those in ASAP to stay on track.
On the mod, I have a lot planned. As some of you may be aware, I'm part of the FNC team. While I will be doing some testing and trying to see if I can get some of my personal mods to work in their worldspace for possible inclusion in the mod, I have also been working to segregate FNC assets from FNV. A great example that has been commented on in this thread are the Super Mutants. FNC has spiffy new textures for Super Mutants. However, the new textures overrides the FNV super mutant textures with strange results. There were hundreds of examples of this and they had a larger (but less noticeable at game time) impact on the DC wasteland for a TTW playthrough. So, while my priority there is to increase compatibility between FNC and FNV, it had the secondary effect of increasing compatibility between FNC and TTW. While this process is not difficult, it is tedious and cumbersome as I have literally been going through hundreds of assets one at a time. This should take care of the biggest concern people had when considering a patch that bridges TTW and FNC.
Before I release a new version I also want to take another look at all the forms in FNVedit for both the latest version of FNC and TTW. Thanks to some conversations on PM and on Discord, I have some new ideas on how to implement a better bridge so I can retire the placeholder I currently have.
Ttw 3.2.3 never came and probably never will. Roybatty has stopped modding so theres hardly any work being done on porting/patching popular mods too. Damn shame
Got rid of my TTW-FNC setup recently using Star The Wandering Courier mod), it was working fine but not recommened anyway. Also, Darthbadamn is still working on it with some other guys. Anyway.
Most of all, the TTW devs keep saying that it can't be 100% compatible, and certainly not in a clean way. TTW 3.2.3 is in development and going well.
As for me, trying to maintain a modlist and setup for 3 games in one was painful, mods are made for FNV, sometimes they work fine with TTW or have official support, but mods that work universally across all 3 games are rare and complex.
Overall, it's too much trouble for what it's worth and FNC is still not fully complete, same for TTW, so it's kinda a waste of time. No offense for the patch devs, I appreciate their efforts.
When you recover will you make an update that can possibly become compatible with TTW 3.2.2? I noticed the normal 3.2 works with this patch but due to options between Capital an Mojave are back your mod no longer seems to work at all. I will recommend somehow adding a third option on where to start and maybe allow make you go to NV when New California updates to 320 that allows you to carry on to Mojave and then you receive your note from your father like normal. Good luck on your recovery!

Anyways, thanks for the continued support!
Edit: Also, hope you get better.
TTW 3.2.3 is also coming soon
Anyway.
