Necropost but I swear there's always somebody on these comments going "No, this wrong"

I don't think it's a big deal if somebody, say, overloaded the Compliance Regulator to actually do harm to people. That's totally something a Fallout character would do.

Like, that explains the existence of Pew Pew. If you want a stronger Laser Pistol you can just get a rifle? No, this guy wanted it this way.

    Don't like don't use :v

I think you misunderstand the point of the compliance regulator.

I do, it's supposed to paralyze people on a critical hit. I didn't op the gun, just slightly boost it so it can be on par with at least a laser rifle

its supposed to be a non-lethal alternative any sort of damage is counter productive

But the idea of using it to stun someone and then immediately open up my pipboy to change to a different weapon to finish off my foe sounds like a chore. So why not just finish them off in one go? Besides, like a said, cool looking weapon but only get to be used as taser is quite pointless

The point of a non-lethal weapon is that you use it on someone you don't want to kill. It's good for roleplaying, and playing through quests like the New Vegas Bounties series where not killing certain NPCs can be more profitable.

If you want them dead, you switch to another weapon using your hotkeys instead of sifting through your inventory. That's what the hotkeys are there for.
