Reason why it's an ingestible item is that the game physics can make you loose the item on the ground. Considering the item cost, it would be a pain to loose it. It was the less of 2 evils so to speak. If you did not experienced what I'm talking about, try to sleep in the upper part of Helios One tower with the the changes applied ;)
Ingurgitable is definitely not in the English language. The word you're looking for equivilent in English is "inedible." Inedible = not edible. Which means it cannot be eaten.

There is a difference between ingest and ingurgitate. Check a dictionary. There is another difference between "another portable bedroll type mod" and this one. It seems that you didn't understand the purpose of this mod.
Indigestible is not the correct word.That means it cannot be digested. Corn can be eaten but not digested, so that's not the correct word. The word equivalent to Ingurgitable in English would be "Inedible."
