so I wanted to share a guide on starting some quests
Penance get level 10.
Sticks and stones speak with that barman deathclaw and ask what he wants (you get a thompson from that quest, so thats cool)
the folly of man ask a deathclaw, in the room next to that baman dethclaw, what does she want. she'll ask you for some items and a winchster p94 ( its a plasma caster coz the dev is a geek). And remember fucking the deathclaw isnt needed to progress the questline (please dont do it, its an "animal") and you get a part of eve's sword.
Angel of the lord ask what some lileth deahclaw wants (it has questmarkers you can do it)
devided teleport to "primm pass" and go south west to an destroyed unmarked hotel (you cant miss it). you get the quest by speaking to a tuneller in there.
Death's last whisper you get that quest by talking to eve. And a side note you'll get a skeleton key form that quest that can be used to open "a strange door" in that bunker
south of heaven have the canibal perk before finishing Death's last whisper (you can either play this quest or raining blood)
raining blood finish Death's last whisper (you can either play this quest or south of heaven)
baffled I have no idea, please help me
black magic i dont have a clue how to play this quest (either)
Animals Should Not Try To Act Like People head north east from gudian peek till you find a fence that can be opened with the skeleton key (dont ask me in what way to end that quest, coz i dont know but if you like energy weapons then go in there)
To Remain Consequential go to rue's last stand and in a pile of blood, left to the ammo boxes, there will be a weapon " vengence cannon" pick it up and talk with eve. this quest doesnt have questmarks so: 1) go to "legion raid camp" 2) search for a chair near some sandbags and grab a note from it 3) go to cottonwood cove and into the office of aurelius of phoenix and find a note and grab the key from his desk. the rest has questmarkers so f*#@ you.
misc: there's rue's house in nelson with a malee version of the vengence cannon. you should totally go to the El Dorado gas sation near helios one. also south east from cottonwood cove near a crane is an old mine with some uniqe weapons and a part for eve's blade
hope this helps (also mr. developer make more silenced weapons, you're good at it)
I've played this mod a few times, and Eve grew on me as a follower. She's neat.
And it's funny how she mentions she went through DC at one point. An idea if you plan to ever revisit this mod, if you don't mind-- say if you add a Tale of Two Wastelands patch, for instance. Say that we meet Eve at one point (probably after the events of Broken Steel) and we can decide to help her escape because she'd be on the run from the Brotherhood of Steel and/or the Enclave. And depending on your actions, she would remember you in New Vegas later on?
So for Magdelona's quest I hit a bit of a snag. so when it came to getting the plasma gun I already had Halo in my inventory and the quest auto updated. backed out of the conversation so I could find another plasma rifle. for some reason it's not giving me the text option anymore and soft lock out of it. and the kicker is that I've been over writing the same save slot and the one before that would make me lose over ten hours. So any thoughts on how to fix or am I going to have to bight the bullet on this?
thanks will keep that in mind since well something got botched and have to start at square one again (bye bye 37 hour run). god going to have to go through the dlc's again...........
I was all on board with talking deathclaws right up until Lilith began slandering the Chosen One, especially given that you made an entire quest built entirely around painting the Chosen One as the bad guy of Fallout 2, despite that being vehemently not true.
I'll go ahead and come at it from a perspective of, it's only this character that feels this way:
To start, the Chosen One had absolutely no way of knowing that the Enclave would show up to Vault 13 and slaughter the intelligent deathclaws, and even if he did know, it's doubtful there's anything he could've done to prevent it, seeing as, ya know, even the Deathclaws couldn't handle the Enclave despite being in VERY close quarters.
Furthermore, if the Chosen One doesn't return to Vault 13 following his departure with Goris, he wouldn't even have known that the massacre happened in the first place.
Even if, for the sake of Lilith's asinine argument, he DID return, the deathclaws would already be dead, and that would be that.
Frankly, you cannot claim to be an intelligent creature while simultaneously levelling the blame for the massacre of your family against LITERALLY THE ONE PERSON WHO DID NOT AND WOULD NOT PARTICIPATE IN IT NOR HAD ANY KNOWLEDGE PRIOR; against the ONE PERSON who actively befriended your tribe of talking deathclaws, and went off on an adventure with Goris EXPLICITLY to show the world that Deathclaws could coexist with humans; at least, their kind could anyway.
As it stands, there is nobody to blame for the massacre except for the Enclave, and that's that.
Taking that into account, Lilith is also CLEARLY, BLISSFULLY unaware that it was The Chosen One who in fact DESTROYS the Enclave, wiping them out from the West Coast, save for straggling remnants that still remained in the wasteland, isolated from the Oil Rig. You could even say, in a way, the Chosen One avenged the Vault 13 deathclaws. He did not do nothing, and to claim otherwise is maliciously stupid.
And frankly, to the mod author, if this is your genuine opinion? That the chosen one is the bad guy for not being there to stop the Enclave that he didn't know would show up? If that's the case it shows that you know nothing about Fallout 2 and have clearly never played it through. However, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt because I don't want to believe that anyone seriously thinks that about a player character that theplayer is in absolute control of.
Dude, calm down. The mod author was depicting a faction that the Chosen One failed to save, and they chose to portray it so that this faction, the deathclaws, blamed the one that failed to save them. It seems to have simply not occurred to you that this faction might be taking out their grief *irrationally*, whether out of pain of a failed savior or just a lack of knowledge of the full story. Don't take your personal umbrage with a group of characters not revering a Fallout protagonist out on the mod author.
Eve is great to have as a follower-- definitely could classify as a berzerker.
My only gripe is that I use Tale of Two Wastelands and Eve explicitly mentions that she's been through the Capital Wasteland. I feel like if we have TTW installed, we should have a dialog option explaining that, even if it's briefly. Aside from that, nicely done.
also was a boss level cazador necessary? I have them modded out of New Vegas and it still showed up-- Even though Eve killed it, haha.
Hi! I sent Eve to the Lucky 38 and now I can't find her anywhere, not even in Four Winds Peak. Help please! Maybe if you give me her ID I can use the console to summon her. Great mod btw!

Otherwise, South of Heaven requires cannibal and also using the cannibal perk as a dialogue option when speaking to Eve about her urges to eat things.
