   A version of this for Hardcore, where you get a chance to revive them before they permanently die would be cool.

   So if companion died then I can't revive them anymore? Because I'm playing in Hardcore mod and usually people died instantly rather than knockdown.

   wish there was a version of this mod where companions would stay down till you use a stimpack or repair kit, even after combat ends

   so how does it work with Hardcore mode turn on? I mostly play NewVegas with hardcore mode, that's mean companion can die in combat if player not careful enough

      I didn't change anything about hardcore mode, if they go down, they will still die.

   Wow, I searched for months for a revive mod for Fallout NV, this one works flawlessly on vanilla companions.
