About this mod

Get rid of encumbrance for real, with the power of entry points! Adds a new perk you can take that will make it impossible for your inventory weight to catch up to your maximum carry weight. Or grant yourself the perk through a simple console command, and forget about encumbrance. The wasteland fits in your pockets.

seriously, do I still need to link those to you?

There are various, simple methods to cheat away the carry weight limits imposed by the game... but few offer a minimally immersive way to do so.

This mod adds a new perk to the game you can take at level 30, with a natural Strength or Endurance of 10, which takes advantage of entry points to guarantee that your maximum carry weight will always be out of reach of your inventory's total weight. You will thus never be overencumbered, and I believe the steep level and SPECIAL requirements make it a bit of an strategic investment...

Or you can say screw it and grant yourself the perk right away of course. The perk will be granted to you by simply typing in the console 'set iNoEncumbrance to 1'. And if at any moment you want to remove it, just type 'set iNoEncumbrance to 0'. Easy peasy.

So yeah, I'm just trying to redress an essentially cheating mod here. Though consider that other options are far from as straightforward as this one. Increasing Strength's effect? Everyone gains the carry weight of the freaking Hulk. Altering items' weight? God damn is that messy. This mod (well, perk) alters your encumbrance only, and only as much as it needs to to accommodate whatever you carry. So your pipboy screen doesn't need to go insane unless you go insane at wasteland scrubbing.

Plug in 'NoEncumbrance.esp' to enjoy, trash it to unenjoy. No uninstallation issues (well, you might want to remove the perk first with 'set iNoEncumbrance to 0'). Go nuts, or for nuts!
