About this mod
Makes for a more satisfying pacifist playthrough by adding pacifist perks. An edit on PsychorGames' mod, this version focusses only on human NPCs.
- Permissions and credits
This mod has 2 versions:
Life is precious
The harder version, NO human kills allowed for a real pacifist challenge, plus the no-hitter and soft-hearted perks.
Keep The Peace
The lite version, up to 10 human kills allowed, for those times you just have to kill, plus the no-hitter and soft-hearted perks.
Traits
Life Is Precious:
This is a trait you can select at the beginning of the game. It allows you to gain 2 times more experience as long as you don't kill a single person. Your followers, however, can kill anything and you will still retain this perk!
OR
Keep The Peace:
This is a trait you can select at the beginning of the game. This perk will make you gain 2 times more experience. Once you personally kill 10 people this perk will be removed. Like every other pacifist perk, follower kills will not count as your own kills!
Perks
No Hitter:
Available at level 2, you gain 2 times more XP, but only if you avoid fighting altogether. If you attack someone or something, there is a chance you will lose this perk.
Soft-Hearted:
Unlocked at level 3, this perk will let you gain 2 times more experience, but witnessing combat will rapidly damage your health. Perhaps your character has heart disease or is liable to go into shock at the sight of violence. If you kill 5 people, you will lose this perk.
Traits and perks stack, allowing up to 6x XP gain.
Changes to the Original:
Only human NPCs count as kills, not creatures or robots;
Total achievable XP now 6x;
Mojave Monk perk removed;
Minor changes to messages.
