It really shouldn't be, since it is the main file. The clipping fix should work with literally any version since it just replaces the gun mesh.
If you install the "Update 2" file, then Better Stats and the clipping fix, in that order, everything should work OK.
(Note that I don't use Vortex, so I don't really know the ins and outs of installing mods with it. Basic mod-installation logic should still apply with it though)
Hey I just wanted to thank you for this mod. It's definitely one if not my favorite gun mods in the nexus. The desing is really fucking cool, I really made it my own in my game, added my own custom sounds for it, I even tweaked it to my taste with FNV Edit, I was looking at the model and size of the microfuson cells in comparison to the length of the tube and kind of caltulated at least 2 more would fit. So I increased the capacity to 8, also reduced the spread and increased the damage a little bit. I gotta admit I kind of made it OP but I just fucking like it so much. Thanks
I really like the concept, model, and general execution, but can't help but feel it's a bit underpowered. Even with the energy weapons skill at max and most of the related perks + a few from the "more perks" mod, I only was able to get up to ~130 DPS. Not a whole lot, for something locked behind a very hard trunk. If the damage was buffed a whole lot, I feel this would make a good alternative to the multiplas rifle. The multiplas would still shoot faster and have a higher capacity, but the boomstick would deal higher base damage. Maybe 50x3 as opposed to the multiplas rifle's 35x3?
Oh, also, the sights are slightly misaligned but that's negligible.
Thanks for pointing that out. I'll probably get around to making a texture fix for it later today (or whenever I get around to it). Also I'm almost sure I mentioned it before, but that "microfusion cell in the stock" bug is just a problem with the base game's animations, not this mod.
Mrrrrg. I HATE the WRP. There's just no good reason to replace the UV maps like that. I could (were I so inclined) fairly easily take every offending WRP texture, open them in Paint.net or GIMP, rearrange them to fit the vanilla UV's, and lose no quality whatsoever, aside from any side effects of relatively amateur texture tweaking. All he had to do was make the textures fit the existing models, and instead he created a compatibility nightmare that has lasted for years! Grah!
Can this Beautiful thing be Modded ?, Also this Might sound like a Non-Constructive critique... But what about Using a Grenade Launche Instead of a Hunting Shotgun for the crafting of this Plasma "Shotgun" ?

Now: when I downloaded the clipping patch (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/69932 ) It says the Better Stats file is redundant.

((NVM, I found out already but I think the Updated neither the Better stat files aren't affected by those perks...))
((They're, Atleas the Better Stat ones, sorry for bothering like this))

The textures on the barrel and the pump are all out of whack for me. ;(
Also anyone else have a microfusion cell just jutting out of the stock of the gun when holstered?

Looking forward to it if you can find the time, either way thanks!
