   Why not just have a ladder that goes up to the hat brim? The extra parts on the statue and "elevator" type thing don't seem necessary.

      Because the brim has no collision, and I'd have to invest weeks to make a perfect circle with collision markers.
      
      The Elevator Thing is because I could not find a proper ladder model that fits the unregular Surface, and needing a DLC to have this mod just for a certain model is Pretty unnecessary.

   I added something like this in my own game. Mine is a ladder going up to the cowboy hat with safety rails around the brim. Lovely view from up there.
   
   Add a "Scenic Overlook" sign.
