Wish the author just provided a fixed pre-generated LOD... FNVLODGEN never worked for me and I gave up fiddling with it. But many people seem to have this issue. If people just offered the generated LOD, I wouldn't even need FNVLODGEN to begin with. If anybody else could provide it, that would be really kind.
EDIT: If anybody cares. You can use NMC Pregenerated LOD and Natural Landscapes LOD instead. Both together almost completely revamp all the LODs with fitting and better looking versions and also fix low res LODs such as this casino here. So if you go crazy from FNVLODGEN not working or breaking LODs, just use these instead.
You Know I've been getting Bombarded by questions on this issue. After looking at all the hassles other people have had generating their own LOD I have no desire to fiddle with it myself and waste a whole bunch of time. I have been using NMC Perfect LOD without issue. However I knew it was not complete. I never ran into this other MOD you pointed out. I'm going to try it out tonight because I'm getting close to the point where its time to start Dead Money and I'd like to see some improvement there and in the other DLC's as well. Thanks for the tip.
EDIT: Installing NMC LOD, and overwriting with Natural Landscapes LOD gives nice results. Reverse install order NOT work - get mountains filled with checkerboard images. Neither install order fixes the horrendous Vikki / Vance Building LOD. Wish there was a way, without xLODgen, to repackage this to fix the building LOD. Anyone?.
Don't forget to get the lodgen resources. The lodgen page also has links to other recommended mods, for a complete setup. In the description tab. I made this mistake once.
My HELIOS one tower and stuff like that went completely invisible for me LOD wise, please help? it's completely vanished for me and very immersion breaking
I doesnt have this mod, but for some reason, in my game Vikki and Vance are exactly like it is with this mod. Aparently some mod already integrated yours, but i dont know which.
Good one, it's still slightly awkward changing to NMC's greyed out palette upon getting closer, but it's a lot better. Might you do the same for the Freeside sign? That one's an eyesore, too.
I do plan to get back to this mod. I'll make a compatibility patch for NMCs and I use it on my gaming rig personally. I'll see what I can do about the Freeside sign too. Personally I think it looks alright in my game. There are far worse eyesores in the Mojave imo .
It drove me nearly insane but I managed to get it to run again. God, the GECK is a pain along with the Gamebryo engine in general. Anyway, thank you for the kind words

Edit: Wait, didn't realise it required FNVLODGen. Been meaning to try it again but last time it turned my game pink.
