This mod overwrites virtually all of Dean Domino's vanilla dead money topics preventing them from showing up, locking the player out of getting the martini perk. Deleting the overwritten, vanilla topics in fnvedit fixed this
I always thought it was strange that the good ending for Dean in Dead Money claims that he follows the Courier to Vegas, and yet we never catch another glimpse of him after the DLC. This is a great mod which adds that feature. Voice lines are recycled quite skillfully, but many of them assume that you are still in the Sierra Madre world space (he still has dialogue options like "what's the deal with the cloud?" and "what are the vending machines around town?"). Despite this, when you ignore the lack of Mojave dialogue, it's a great mod that doesn't really break immersion and adds a great new companion into the Wasteland!
is it mention anywhere in the cut content site of FNV regarding this? Would love to believe that dean domino good ending actually an actual content of the game with him being in Mojave Wasteland like near the Freeside giving you quest like side quest for you to help him get into the Strip. might asking Josh Sawyer about it at his tumblr
I merged this mod alongside a christine, dog, neil, and a few other companion mods together
Doing so broke Dean's dialogue in a way that I couldnt hire him at the very beginning of the DLC which broke the entire dlc. Removing him from the companion merge fixed this.
This mod on its own works fine, but I would advise not merging this with anything else. Treat it like an esm.
It ruined my 100 hour playthrough because for some reason i thought id tested dead money already after merging him but no, it was fucked. Thankfully i have a save from before starting the dlc but now i cant play it because of that :(
Howdy - I noticed in the comments you said this was *compatible* with mods that edit his face but I wanted to know if those mods would actually change his face.I had downloaded this though his face was default, perhaps I messed something up. (I am using FCO 3.03 if that matters.)
Maybe it's just me, but with this mod on Dean had no dialogue options during Dead Money beyond the bare bones (wait and tactics). This makes it impossible to get the Sierra Madre Martini perk. Luckily turning the mod off fixed it for me. I'll just need to remember to put it back on after I'm done.
