I'm somewhat new to XRE cars in general so I was wandering if anyone could help me with the car registry thing, it pops up saying the car isn't registered each time I try to use the one outside the highway patrol station
I used to have that issue too, not only with this car but also with the others that come with XRE - CARS . I think I fixed it by uninstalling both mods (XRE - CARS and this one), saving after that and then reinstalling them again. I'm sorry but I no longer have XRE - CARS installed so I'm not sure if it will work.
Also, make sure "XRE - CARS! ADDON - NHP POLICE CAR.esp" is above "XRE - CARS!.esp" in your load order.
Having both mods at the bottom of your load order might be helpful as well.
Why is it an Atomic V8 instead of a Highway Patrol Car? Don't get me wrong I LOVE The V8, and it looks awesome, but i'm confused as to why it's an Atomic V8 instead of a Highway Patrol Car, I think your intention was to make it stand out amongst the wrecked ones, also, why does it have no police lights on the top?
Hello, I would love to use the Highway Patrol Car, but the model that uses XRE (the Carnivore I think is called) can't be retextured as a police car due to its UV maps. It doesn't have police lights because it's a simple retexture of the V8 XRE model. I tried to add them with Blender but I don't know how to do it because it's not a simple object, it's a scripted vehicle and I don't know how to export them from Blender to .nif file.
Hello, I had that issue with XRE Cars too before creating this addon so I think it's not caused by my mod. I uninstalled XRE Cars and reinstalled it again to fix that problem. If you dont want to reinstall it I recommend to load an old savegame in which you had the keys, then drop them and get the keys' ID using the console, once you have done that load your latest save and get the keys using this command "player.additem <ID> <amount>".

Thank you I know, I tried to retexture the "Carnivore Special" but it uses the same texture for every part of the car, not like this one, the Carnivore uses a simple metal texture that repeats over and over, if I add the police logo you would see it on the hood, the trunk... I tried to edit the car with the 3D program "Blender" but it turns into a mess when I export it :\
I didn't know that, you are right! there is already a police car in his mod: "Mattell's Motors Presents Wasted Cars powered by XRE" check the last image page and you'll see it.
