Just a headsup everyone tomorrow I'll be working on this mod again with the plan to add damage based on gun type. Dunno yet how I'm going to do that perhaps I need to change the damage on guns themselves or some kind of script? We'll see!
Edit: The update has just been released hope you enjoy it!
Hey Original Author here, I lost my account details and this mod was made ages ago so I am probably not going to update it anymore. However I might mess around with it again seeing as people seem to have liked it.
Right, I love this mod, it does a great job with making Deathclaws and Muties a proper threat, and makes the higher calibers and big weapons feel damn powerful...but I cannot love this mod, because it doesn't take into consideration calibers and armor. See with human enemies, this mod makes them fucking pathetic, barring very hard, but then the enemies just take 2 308's while you die to 22. very quickly. Prime example, the tops. I go in there, pick a fight with a random couple of chairmen with nothing but 22. Pistols. I am wearing combat armor mk2 and have an endurance of 8.
They melt me in a mere fucking second, and thats not even an exageration. I fucking adore this mod, but I cannot play it for more than a month without losing my mind. It's like a gambling addiction...
I've been using R.W.D., but it seems like that mod makes my limbs turn into jelly, even with Adamantium Skeleton, and also turns my armor into tissue paper. I've been getting real sick of having my power armor fall apart from a single firefight, and having to lug around 10 doctor's bags at all times. Does this mod have that same issue, or should I be making the switch?
Finally a "Realistic Damage Mod" that ACTUALLY makes the combat realistic. I've downloaded RWD and Bleed but the NPCs were still bullet sponges despite they claiming that their mod would make NV's combat more "REAAALISTICCC". Yeah right.
been using this in a playthrough going on 50+ hours very good mod fun and fair melee could be buffed especially for enemies but that be about my only recommendation. thank you very much for this I've had a lot of fun with it.
Idk if it's a common thing or in the description, tho I think I did not see it. Can I load this mod on a save file, or should I make a new game? Thank you!
probably there shouldn't be any problems with loading this mod mid game, as a general rule, mods that does not add object to the game should be okay. (this only modifies damage calculation)
