Would be great if this works along with the 'More Perks" mod, where it automaticly set trainins into infinite usage

This is a nitpick, but the popup was just a little too quiet and unceremonious for me. I made a quick edit to the script so that it plays the slot machine jackpot sound effect upon popping up, then the XP gain sound when closing the menu (works best with a Fallout 3 style ka-ching sound, IMO). Here it is for anyone who wants it.

Note: this may or may not break the MCM menu, in my experience. Not sure if my script edit is the culprit, but sometimes (not always), the MCM menu just doesn't load for this. Use at your own risk, I guess.

This... This is a brilliant idea.

I'll definitely use this on my next playthrough.

Great idea. Thank you for the mod! I tried to use MCM to change it to every 10 levels, but upon reaching level five, I still got a point. I'm using a book collecting mod that gives special points, so I'll have to use this on my next playthrough.

Great mod, I'm about to do a playthrough with a lvl 99 cap and I want this mod, but I want it a little more balanced. Is there a way to make it 14 or 15 levels, or could you maybe upload a version like that? Endorsed!

In the MCM menu you can change the level at which you acquire SPECIAL points.

the MCM menu is a mod you have to install. it's highly recommended that you have it installed; a lot of other mods use it.

the MCM mod can be found here:

and here is an up-to-date video on how to install it, along with some other UI improvements:

If I install this mod on a character who has picked Intense Training before, what exactly happens?

Nothing, just prevents you from picking intense training in the perk selection menu when you level up.

Does this work if this is added to an already created character, including one who's level isn't divisible by 5?

Sorta, it's recommended to use on a new character, as you won't get the special bonuses from before your current level

Could you make a port of this to Fallout 3, please? It's a simple and pretty good mod for RP

Mostly just cleanup of the script and some small tweaks that I wasn't able to properly convey to Hopper when he made the script.
