Changelogs
Version 1.6
- Remade the HUD in 4K alongside with every crosshair and activation prompt versions on the "interfaceshared0.dds" file. (Check the screenshots!)
- In order for the compass to work at 4K, the following files have been added: "hudtemplates.xml", "interfaceshared.tai". Credits to "BmanBlazer" (Vanilla HUD Remastered (4K)) for giving me permission to include them.
- Added the following patch: "Hardcore Compass (Vanilla UI Plus)".
- Removed unnecessary files.
- Further improved the vault boy icons in the "interfaceshared0.dds" for all versions. (Check the comparison screenshot!)
- Reworked the glow / shadow in the "interfaceshared0.dds" (HUD, compass icons, xp and radiation triangles, tick bar, hit marker, mouse, all crosshair and activation prompt versions), "air_meter.dds", "glow_square_small.dds", "glow_square_filled_small.dds", "glow_vats_queue_divider.dds".
- Reworked the "repair_meter_pips.dds" and reduced the opacity to 75%.
- Improved the antialiasing in the "wait_pointer.dds".
- Updated the screenshots in the mod page.
Version 1.5
- Improved the vault boy icons in the "interfaceshared0.dds" file by upscaling them to 4K using "waifu2x" then downscaling them back to 1K, except for the "Vanilla HUD Remastered (4K)" patch, which they stayed at 4K and it's where the most noticeable difference can be seen.
Version 1.4
- Added a new patch: "Vanilla HD HUD - Alternative Crosshair & Activation Prompt", which changes the crosshair to slightly bigger version of the "Minimalistic Crosshairs" one and the activation prompt to a similar / smaller version of the one found on Fallout 4.
- Added a new patch: "Vanilla HUD Remastered (4K)", which merges both mods into one by using this mod's HUD instead of mine, while still allowing the use of some of the UI. I only support one crosshair and activation prompt in this patch, the one found on the "Vanilla HD HUD - Alternative Crosshair & Activation Prompt."
