G'mornin'! My personal view on what the Strip turned out to be in the vanilla game is pretty bleak, so I'm always looking for new ways to spice it up! I think your mod really has a lot of potential to be something pretty fun, but it's definitely lacking as it is right now, even for a V1. The graphics and textures of the buildings stick out and there's not much to explore aside from heading to the Strip and seeing the general area since there's no interiors.
That being said, I think you're on the right track! As before, the vanilla Strip is so disappointing compared to its concept art that anything made to add onto or improve it is almost an assured addition to my game. Personally, I'd love to see stuff added around to the outside as decoration, interiors to poke around and explore, and unique NPCs to chat with (voicing them is not necessary but always gets bonus points!).
I really genuinely hope that you're still working on this, as I come to check on it every once in a while and I'd love to see it improved into a nice little thematic park on the Strip.
