I dunno if anyone will see this but any chance someone could explain to me how to change the gold ring necklace's color to silver? I have GIMP and NifSkope installed but no idea how to specifically change these textures '^^
open the bsa using a mod manager like fomm, extract all the files to a location you can easily access, open the necklace file in nifskope you want to alter. When you've opened it in nifskope you'll see the necklace without textures loaded left click on the ring model in the 3D rendering to highlight it. On the left column a block list will highlight called NiTriStrips with an arrow to the left of it. Select the arrow to open a drop down menu, in the drop down menu select the next arrow beside BSShaderPPLightingProperty. Under that title is a sub menu called BSSTextureShaderSet. Left click BSSTextureShaderSet. Down in another area below highlights the textures and pathing, click on the purple flower and select the path to whatever silver/grey/chrome texture you want to replace it with. https://www.dropbox.com/s/yrwa5wjgmrcq1y3/Capture.JPG?dl=0
Anyone have any ideas about how to port these over to Skyrim SE? I have never done any modding at all but am willing to learn just to stop the frustration from followers and others looking like they've had their throats cut.
Nice mod Jokerine (if you're still reading comments with a closed account). I like this mod and it works too. I found a really neat glowing retexture for the Holotapes sprinkled throughout the wasteland. The retexture even works for your necklace with the Holotape.
