Is this compatible with the New New Vegas collection by VeryLastKiss?

      For others reading this:

It's very likely that this mod is compatible with New New Vegas. I'm mostly concerned if it will be balanced, but I expect it will be mostly balanced. I will be testing this mod.

New simple version is exactly what I was looking for. For any run through involving ranged weapons, definitely adds a sense of kill or be killed. Melee should be very difficult -> you're running at a fully automatic laser tommy gun with a glorified boxing glove, you should expect to get your ass lit up. Fast paced, brutal action. Love it.

Just want to note that, as of this point, the mod has been completely overhauled, so a lot of the previous comments (especially my own, all tweaks outside of damage value adjustment have been removed), are now moot.
That being said, the general concept is the same, so disagreements with the very idea are still perfectly valid.

I was eager to see how this mod would work out in the gameplay, but it only made feel like the vanilla very hard is actually well balanced. If you know the game well you can still use different guns/playstyles on vanilla very hard and the "bullet sponge" means you can't just kill enemies like rats or mantis with a single shot (if using a regular gun). It also means you can't keep shooting certain enemies in the head and you might have to cripple different parts of their body so that they stagger/slow down before you are able to lay them down. I understand that "bullet sponge" is boring for many types of games but I enjoy it here because of that aspect. It feels more like a RPG.

This mod makes melee unviable while weapons like 9mm pistol will already start very OP. It's much easier than vanilla very hard but there will definitely be insane difficulty spikes on encounters that start with enemies shooting at you in the open (like Vault 11 Sacrificial chamber). All in all I decided to stick to vanilla very hard for a more consistent experience.

Such a s#*! mod. You're "recommended" file one shots enemys and gives 5 times less exp. better remake or delete this shit.

      gives 5 times less exp

Most definitively not. Another mod you're using must be doing that.

Do companions scale off the changes made to you or the changes made to enemies?

What are the damage multipliers in impossible mode? Because it barely made a difference....

Does anybody else have problems downloading one of the optional files? I only get corrupted archives.

I am trying out just now, it’s a great idea, I love the stronger deathclaws, but don’t you think it will also be good other creatures, like the yao-guai, well I think you should make every animal faster, they already should do more damage, but it will be quite fun that when you see an animal like dogmeat you get scare and just want to finish them before they reach you, this will balance animals and give them more weight in combat! Anyway, great mod and endorse!

One shot doesn't work for me. I can one shot enemies, but they can't one shot me.
