Mainly because this mod continues the story of mods that have been remade and rewritten to be better, making this one irrelevant and confusing as the old plot line that this mod has is disjointed compared to the storyline that the new mods follow.
Looks like a great mod, but I'm concerned about potential conflicts with my other mods. I have every Someguy2000 mod, the Deterrent, Blackrow, Enclave Hunter, North Road, The Initiation, War Trash, Zion Trail, Deathsong Brotherhood, to name just the major ones (plus a holy fuckload of minor ones and weapons). Several of them modify Freeside area. Now, I managed to merge all of them, into two distinct mod packs for my game, using MergePlugins, and it's all working more or less ok (some bugs, but nothing quest-breaking). So my question is, can your mod be merged with everything else I have, or will it have conflicts?
Based on that load order, I'm going to go ahead and say that there would defiantly be a conflict. If you really want to play this mod, then I am sorry about that. However, there will be a redux next year, so fingers crossed for that?
No its ok, I expected that. And I can see this mod is still a beta, so... no. Right now I have no plans of trying it. I like my current game build (havent even finished with everything I crammed in it yet XD ).
Nice mod so far! CHEAT ALERT Is it possible to hack the basement computer at Dimiitri's w/o then having to fight John Dixon and all of Dimitri's gang? Haven't had any luck. THanks for any help.
No, sorry that's a scripted event and it happens every time. I'm doing a overhaul of this mod in the future, but it's most likely going to be VERY different and a long way off. In the mean time, I'll be happy to answer any other questions.
"When i talk to Sarah upon her visiting her house she says the " it's gone, it's all gone" line but i can not progress from this point and can only ask questions or say "See you later" when talking to her and i can not get any further quests, if anybody knows how to fix this please help thanks. "
I have problem with this part also,i can't even talk to her, just watch when she aims her pistol after bo who's running away.
Well,i found out how to continue.Open console and type:player.placeatme 5F001695.This spawns Dimitri and you can talk to him. Edit:first find Dimitri's nightclub at freeside.
I am playing a heavily modded game of New Vegas, and I saw this mod and was thinking about trying to squeeze it in, but I'm nearing the max my load order can support. I can see you've made a line of mods, your own series of quests. I wish I could install them all, but I barely have room for 1 or 2 more plugins, much less 4 or 5. This mod, from the impression I'm getting of footage, recommendations, and the mod description, seems to be your best and latest work. Since I'm in such a limited situation, I was considering just downloading this one, the best of your work. But since it is a sequel, I might miss out on story. Could you give me your recommendation?
Will I just not understand anything that's going on? Is it possible that this mod has its own story where the first ones help but aren't quite necessary? I just want to know if I REALLY need to play the previous installments to understand. I mean, I COULD just play them one a time, switching out the mods as I go, turning of Open Waters and turning on this one once I've completed Open Waters, but you didn't make them that way, did you? Was it your intention for them to stack? I suppose a merged plugin is out of the question?
Well, my recommendation is that since you cannot install anymore mods that you just play this one. Yes, this is one of my better ones, but the you don't really need to play the predecessors. The story is very loosely connected at the beginning. Basically, this is a whole new story with characters from previous mods of mine. SO what I'm saying is that it's recommended you do not play the previous titles if you cannot afford to do so.
If you really want to play the predecessors to this mods, then you could just play them one at a time. They were never meant to be all on at the same time. However if you do this, you'll realize that thequality grows lackluster as you proceed to early content of mine.
I hope that helps you in any way, and thanks for commenting
Thank you very much Masterwolf for taking the time to reply. A bit of a follow-up, if you don't mind. You say they were never meant to be all on at the same time? Don't many of them add companions though? So if rotate out with the mods, I will be missing out on keeping those companions?
Well, that's quite a predicament. I've play tested it many times and that's never happened to me. My only guess is that your version of NV might possibly have issues, in that case, just reload an old save before you started the quest and that might fix it. If not, I'm sorry, but I have no clue how to help you. If that does not help, I'll have to take a look at this problem, even though ti has never occurred to me. Forgive the lateness of my reply.

It's outdated in the sense that it doesn't live up to my standards.
Will be looking forward to the redux version, tho
