Is It possible to create of compatibility patches for NCR Trooper Overhaul for version Beta and Distributed? I ask It because they aren't incompatible with New Vegas Redesigned 3.
Looks like some great work. So, couple of quick questions:
1. The patch for YUP and NVR3 and JSUE says I need both JSUE and jsawyer in order to work properly. I'm assuming that's an error, as JSUE is more or less meant to replace jsawyer, not be run along with it.
2. I want to run all this with Legion Quests expanded. If I understood the description right, I would load the affected mods in the right order, then load the patch for YUP+NVR3+JSUE, and then load the patch for NVR3+LQE last. Is that correct?
Thanks mate for this awesome patch. I was wondering, I have both yup and yukichigai gameplay tweaks, so which patch should I use, yup or yukichigai gameplay tweaks or both.
This may sound a dumb question, but what are the main conflicts the mod exactly address?
One problem I have is sometimes the thugs in Freeside are wearing Gladiator Armor, wich not only make them hard to kill to a low level player, but they also turn those Kings soldiers into shreds.
Apart that, what other problems NVR and jsawyer have? I use the two mods BTW, can't play FNV without them anymore.
The incompatibilities/conflicts are basically YUP adding some fix or changing inventories for certain NPCs in the game which prevents the visual changes that NVR 3 has. These patches basically make sure that NVR 3's visuals will work alongside the bugfixes from YUP. The same principle applies for JSawyer and JSU Hope that helps
I am basically at my .esp plugin cap, but I am currently running Yugikai Unofficial Patch with Fallout Character Overhaul Version 2.3 and Fallout Redesigned 3. [You need to keep FCO to the earlier version for it to be compatible with Fallout Redesigned 3, currently] If I followed the instructions in YUP's page about keeping it higher on the load order, would that eliminate my need to use this patch, or alternatively, which NPCs would YUP conflict with for those two mods?
Additionally, just a heads-up that FCO from version 3 onward is currently incompatible with FR3, and making a patch for both at the same time would require the older version of FCO.
Well this patch does not touch FCO so that isn't an issue, and as an added note FCO 3 is actually compatible with NVR3, but you have to install it first, then FCO 2.3.1 without overwriting any files, then installing Redesigned 3.
YUP fixes things like packages, inventories, and quest-related entries on NPCs that conflict with Redesigned so I made this patch to have both the fixes and the changed visuals.
Thank you for the patch. I use a version of YUP for another language than english, is it possible to make your patch compatible with it? I think the changes of your patch would be the same, it just don't work with the YUP I am using.

EDIT: Working on an update to the YUP patch, there are additional NPC changes that are not covered by this patch.
