Happy leap year, everybody! I hope you all like the diner! Please let me know, and share your screenshots!
I admit I sort of rushed through the final stages of the mod so I could release it today, and I haven't had much sleep as well. So, if you find any horrible game-breaking issues, let me know! Good luck
Beautifully decorated, cosy and interesting, and very well positioned in an otherwise quite an empty part of the map. Our good Jokerine's work... Recommended!
Skyrocket Cafe kinda feels like it's an Old-World diner, still being run by a trusty old Mister Handy chef, completely unaware of the fact that the world has ended. There's a radio station with good music, if a little quiet, but it's pleasant to just have a radio station with mostly-upbeat music and no news breaks in the middle. I like the fact that there are other patrons in the diner who are sitting there eating food, because it makes the place feel more alive than most of the other places in the wasteland.
Even better, it's on the way to Novac, which gives me a perfect place to stop off and grab some food. It feels right, having a place right there on the side of the road, which I think is why it has that 'Old-World' feel to it, resembling any great number of those roadside diners, but with some New Vegas charm. It's not some building completely built out of scraps, trailers, and used airplane parts, it's an old-world building that's still standing.
Even better, and this is somewhat ironic because I'm actually fond of having player homes, there's no player home in the cafe. Thereby, it just feels like a place that's somehow thrived in the aftermath of the apocalypse, not a building that was put there for the player's convenience.
while im not a fan of the location as its near the legion raid camp i DO consider this an ESSENTIAL mod aka cant play FNV without it so with that said i wanted to know if you would work with Th3Overseer and add a version of this mod to his mod "the north road".i ask cause in "the north road" is a town with a perfect dinner just waiting for a somebody revamp it into a Skyrocket dinner
Excellent mod! Is very cool, and I really like that "vintage" style that the store haves. It seems that the person who created this put a lot of effort on here, apart from fully voicing the merchant, add new food, it haves its own radio broadcast!
But, speaking of radios... I wonder how can I change the music on the radio, or perhaps, add more music. I'll be very grateful if anyone can reply with an answer.
