Not bad at all, is really is pretty dark though. Could use more light in the entryway at night. Also, you don't get the well rested bonus when sleeping.
Anyway you could add alittle more storage? Like a safe or something like that? Duffle bag might fit better though. A first aid kit thing on the wall would be cool too. Just suggestions.
And about the Deathclaws... You can always use the craftable turret mod to defend your home while you're away xD
I like to think of the deathclaws as free insurance! Any seasoned player can handle deathclaws, but your average run of the mill npc won't get within 50 yards of the joint!
As for storage, i could add it in an update tomorrow!
