If anyone would like to make models for the implants to have a physical representation in-game, please feel free to send me a PM.
If anyone is wondering where the icons displayed in the video are in their game, please tick the "Implant Icons" option in the MCM.
For those of you having issues with the Power Distribution Menu not appearing try holding "ctrl" and the right arrow key. If that does not work then please make sure that you are using version 5.0b3.7 of NVSE. This is the latest beta version, not the latest stable version.
really wanted to like this but it is not compatible with controller even when keymaps match. super unfortunate but fallout is a controller game so i had to uninstall
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: If you don't cancel the Odin Implant's effect by activating it during it's duration, it will have a glitched infinite cooldown after the duration is finished. This cooldown translates through savegames, so in order to not permanently break your Odin Implant either fix the script or keep it in mind to cancel.
you may need to press and hold down the power button, then use the scroll wheel to cycle through the powers. For the power distribution, you will need to hold down the power button again and then press and hold the power distribution key for a few seconds until the menu appears.
have an issue where even if I select the perk option I still have instant access to the implants, using TTW btw and I'm just trying to be a rootin' tootin cowboy shootin gunslinger, not a terminator, haha
Really cool concept, I love the execution with the implant that makes you detect sounds through walls. Sadly it didn't really work all that well for me, I selected the option to not have all implants immediately, but I still received them nonetheless and could teleport or activate the shield from the get go. And then it started to drain my batteries automatically, and I can't figure out why. I made sure I wasn't using any implant, activating and deactivating each of them just in case, and still it was draining all my batteries one by one constantly. Too bad. :/
Just found out about this mod and it looks really good. Found a couple of bugs though. The implant use key also switches my character view from third person to first person. At the beginning of the mod, when it asks you to choose if you want to get the implants right away or via perk, i choose the perk option and it still gave me the implants right away.
EDIT: It looks like I found a possible fix regarding the bug where choosing the perk option will give you the implants right away. Turns out, the quest for the implant is setup to activate automatically when the game starts no matter what option is chosen. Disabling "start game enabled" for this quest "SteelTrimmedHotkeyQuest" via geck fixed the issue. at least for me.
I'm terribly sorry, but I'm afraid that there's not. As a stop-gag you could set your fission batteries to provide 10,000kW of power and then do whatever you're doing with them so that they're not used up.
