so i still cant get it to work i created a dog folder in both meshes and textures and put the files in the respective folders. i got the voice to work but thats it can someone help
Any progress on making the folders more useful? I've put everything in and I got an invisible silent wolf that I keep walking into.
Edit : For future reference, "Scar.nif" goes in NV Directory\Data\Meshes\Creatures\Dog, the dds goes in the corresponding folder in "Textures", and the sound files go in Data\Sound\Voice\Scar the Wolf.esp
mrdoge9508 thanks for that reference, except what should the "corresponding folder" be named for the textures? the way i set it up to your instruction, his textures change to random files based on what i'm looking at (i.e I look directly at him, the proper texture shows, i look at a rug, a rug texture shows on him)
Edit: should've been more exact, i figured it out on my own Scar.nif goes into: Data>Meshes>Creatures>Dog Scar.dds goes into: Data>Textures>Creatures>Dog Folder "Scar the Wolf.esp" goes into: Data>Sound>Voice
Other users: If these folders do not exist, create them, if you don't know how, learn how to use windows look up how to create new folders
Looking through Vortex at my mods cleaning out stuff I don't use... And this mod is there. I never installed this. Scar the Wolf Companion Revamp Nexas says I never downloaded this. Did another mod install it? I'm hearing the twilight zone music. Du na nu na etc.
The exact same thing happened to me too. Downloaded NVSE and this mod has been installed instead and NVSE isnt. Are you guys using Windows 10 by any chance?
Mod looks interesting on screenshots, but I was not successed to install anything except the sounds. No textures, but he's kind of next to me. I got talking ghost wolf.
Why doesn't this just have soundmeshes and textures? folders?
I can repackage this into a zip file for you that makes it easier for people to install if you want it might give you more downloads and endorsments.
Or maybe I can't yeah you need to make this alot better just put the files into the folder they need to be in in a zip file for example his textures should be already inside the zip in Data/textures/dog. that way people won't need to make new folders and instead it will be added when they copy and past the textures folder.
expect people to not know how to make folders.
also does this requrie somethign I don't see him At all he's like invisible and there, got the voice working but that is all he's an invisible commie ghost wolf, who don't know he's dead.
Nothing on the wolfs location? No info? How do I know to install this or not? And what does "fully voiced" mean? Add some description about your mod, bro.
Location: Novac's Dino Dee-Lite Motel Lobby, Path: The file has instructions in the names of the folders, as in each folder's name describes where you should put it's content, and Fully-Voiced means that all of his dialogue has a voice, as in you can hear him talking to you. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Where is the data texture "Dog Folder" I don't seem to have one, I saw one named puppy and put the dds there.......at anyrate he shows up he has voice.......but seems he hasn't decided what texture to use so he is using all of them at 1 time..... I tried again and again im not sure where to put the texture file as again I cant find one named "dog" Nvm I got it to work, I had to make a new folder named "dog"

Without being properly set up for install, this mod just is not ready for primetime.
Sorry.
