I'm not sure if the latest update was your last or if you might plan on updating it more? I would love to see some sort of optional feral/hunger/losing control mechanic. That would make role-playing more fun. Also: I noticed I was sliding when using the "crouch" animation with the viva new vegas list. I'm not sure if there is a conflict or if that is a bug in general. The crouch is pretty pointless so it isn't to big of an issue but just thought I'd mention it.
Yeah the crouch is kind of pointless, it's mostly to let you get down closer to the ground in case you can't reach something.
As for the other thing, I don't really have any planned updates for this at the moment, I mostly had the current update sitting around for a few years and finally got around to finalizing and releasing.
Everytime you transform into the thing and back, you lose like ~30 max HP, stopping at 29 HP. I didn't notice for a while but it makes it pretty much useless
Edit: Someone else mentioned this, but from what I could tell, you can't get your max HP back by transforming into a deathclaw and then transforming back at full HP (unlike what they said) but they are right; if you lose HP as a deathclaw, and transform back before healing, your max player HP will permanently decrease.
You know, I think a bug like this being reported after so long is what I needed to get off my rear and finish up that update I started far too long ago. I think it was pretty much done, so hopefully I'll have it uploaded soon unless something particularly nasty is found.
It has admittedly been a while since I last touched this mod, but unless I completely forgot how it works, it should reset your reputation after you revert in a similar method to how faction armors do it.
However to outright prevent rep loss, I believe all you'd need to do is make it so the kills don't count as coming from the player and remove the Wereclaw's status as a player teammate, but that would remove the XP reward you get as well unless you feel like manually reimplementing that. I believe it's in one of the control scripts, however I am unsure which one at the current moment.
I'm more wondering how to make it so people don't hate me (the one's that dont't while in human form at least) after transforming. I might be misreading what you're saying, but that's what I want to know.
IIRC I place some AOE on the Wereclaw every few seconds that hits people and makes them aggro to you. At the time I made this, it was likely a massive invisible explosion, so perhaps try looking around for that.

After messing around in Geck for a bit, I managed to make it turn the player into a securitron, though I'm still trying to find a way for it to switch weapons and use a securitrons
It's been a while but I believe there's just a deathclaw NPC put on top of the player with special scripts for it and forcing a custom deathclaw attack weapon, I think it copies the players animations, I dunno it was a while ago
Don't use this mod if you use Just Assorted Mods as they're entirely incompatible. The "fix" provided by the author in the comments also doesn't work either.
hi, can someone help me? I need to manage this mod but I can't use mod manager :/ any ideas? I don't like the big damage + health and I can't sprint because I have just vannila sprint downloaded so I want to change the sprint of deathclaw form to Alt because it's not used key.. and I don't want to uninstall it vannila sprint.... help please
Yeah, it's due to vanilla sprint disabling the "walk/run" key for whatever reason. If you have the GECK loaded with NVSE just look for the "WereclawCreatureScript" Script, or something like that, and change "IsControlPressed 9" to "GetKeyPress 56".
thanks, one last question, how can I reduce health and damage? I like being overpowered but it's not fun when you play for 10minutes. And I think it's good idea to add a timer when you will transform back into a human after like 15minutes? I think 15 minutes is alright, and than there can be a timer that will tell you when you can transform into a deathclaw again... I hope you know what I mean :D
changes: Damage of claw should be around 30-45 dmg per hit. Health 200 because you can heal from corpses instantly. Idea: Deathclaw transform limit 15minutes, transforming back into a deathclaw 30minutes or 24h game time. When the transform is ready you need press J.

I know I have many requests but... I really like your mod and it changes the game into skyrim :D I would give this mod 10/10. But -3 because being overpowered isn't fun. +1 because of the fact that when you transform into a giant monster, everyone will be scared of you so they will attack you. final result 8/10... if my ideas was there it would be 9/10 + with Centered 3rd Camera mod by Jahandar it's 10/10 from me. Because the original camera sucks :D

But I transformed not far from a settlement and then transformed back, but it turned friendlies hostile. Thankfully, most of the ones were essential, but it's odd.
If I may make a small suggestion. IF you can, maybe put a note on the Legendary Deathclaw's body, explaining what happens. Maybe the Legendary Deathclaw is the previous holder of this perk. If you want to add a bit of fear to the story too, either imply that the transformation becomes permanent (not possible I know in gameplay, but it could be something that happens after the game's ending?) Or that it becomes like a drug, meaning that the more you do it, the more addicting it becomes until all you want to do is be in Deathclaw form.
