First release of the package. Learning the system as I go on the uploading setup. Trying to make things a little neater for everyone....
I don't claim to be the greatest at the avatar creation, but it seems a lot of people don't know how to make them, or want to learn how...so I figured I would save people the trouble of doing it. I am going to use this to package avatars up for people. They are tiny...like 12.1k in size so they aren't going to take up that much room....but I can also upload individuals if people want. I will also take requests. Either PM me or post them here.
Note: So far there is only ONE companion I cannot make an avatar for without renaming...and that's Amy "Anklebiter" Mcphereson from the Jasmine with Anklebiter companion pack made by Jasmiyne. This is due to the quotation marks used in her name. Jasmine however does have a built in avatar. Anklebiter can be renamed with various methods and then have an avatar made for her....any companion with certain characters not allowed by Windows will run into this. This is not something I can easily figure out....
I honestly don't know if some of these have avatars already. These ARE all my own work. I make them myself. I am not packaging them up from other sources.
Managing mod conflicts is fun...heh. Nisa Valen for one...has texture issues...while I love the story on that mod....her face texture is completely messed up half the time. Kinda looks like digital cammo or something....I managed to catch it with no distortion and grab the screenshot for the avatar. Not sure if it's my ENB, or just a mod conflict...but she's the only one I've run into so far with that problem.
I will also add Yune, but not sure how to deal with the 2 different ages yet...she appears in Nisa as like a 10 year old...and in her own mod as about 15/16 like Nisa.
Make sure if you have suggestions, please give me links. Be careful about offsite ones...because of Nexus Rules tho. I have a few I would love to share...but since they aren't on the Nexus...they would violate the rules here...
Hi, I have two avatars I made for The Exile and Mary Jo Casey companions. Can I send you them to add to the pack? They're done in the standard style, except MJC is looking right instead of left to showcase the light on her backpack.
Did you need to get permission from jazzisparis to publish this mod? I wanted to make a similar one for my companions, but I can't seem to get in contact with jazzisparis.
Actually the method I use is quite simple and only takes a few seconds. Way easier then what JIP recommends....
It takes longer to get the screen caps then it does to convert them to DDS files with the Gimp...whole process takes me honestly just a couple minutes. If you want I can give you the steps for Gimp....
