Before commenting about how it isn't lore-friendly, maybe first read the comments down below that go into more detail on the subject. You'll find that gasoline does exist in Fallout lore before the Great War. Seen in this sign in the original Fallout: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Poseidon_Gasoline As well as this, the prices on my gas pumps are accurate to the ones in Fallout Tactics (I know it is considered semi-canon...) and I also found out from people who know more about Fallout lore, that the Great War was fought over the last remaining fossil fuels (namely petroleum) so gasoline would have been in limited supply but nonetheless available (if rather expensive). Read up on this link if you want more info about that: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Great_War Finally, while there might not have been much gas towards the end of the Great War, that doesn't mean that all the gas pumps would just disappear, they would likely have just been abandoned or thrown out as I have tried to depict in my mod. Finally, consider that I made this mod for fun and to increase my experience using the GECK. I uploaded it here because I thought that people would like it. If you don't think you want it in your game, maybe this mod isn't for you...
Have a nice day and I'm glad there are lots of people who do like my mod
Awesome job. Looks amazing, fits with Lore. The nuclear cars came about due to the price of gasoline not the absence there of. Feasibility of technology costs. Great looking. I'll also second whoever mentioned Red Rocket versions in DC with both for TTW version. (Would be even more awesomeness) Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing.
Oh and for the record Myself, Roy Batterian, Chucksteel are all over 40 and play and mod Fallout
Besides, we can all say it's nuclear infused "Nuka-Gas" (Coincidentally, also what happens when a ghoul farts)...or it could theoretically be a coolant station for vehicular radioisotope thermoelectric generators small enough to fit in cars...
As lore friendly as it is the gasoline was mainly used for things like the generators you find, notice that there not gas pumps at the red rocket in FO4 as well. This is because the vehicles in Fallout don't run on gasoline they use nuclear fusion and that's why they irradiate you when they explode. So it's lore friendly but not entirely accurate; still, this made is very well made... ;p
Well, you are correct about cars, of course, but what about motorcycles? You have a Motorcycle gas tank as a component used in the Shishkebab. And Shishkebab is lore-friendly as it is part of the official game, so there!
This looks pretty cool, but I have a question. I'm surprised that in three pages of comments (thats all I read), no one's asked it: Do they explode when you shoot them???
How the textures work? Is it random or should hide in MO2? Want just the blue one, because I think the red one fit better with Red Rocket than Poseidon Energy
