Hi, I'd like to port this to ARMA 3 since there aren't any XL70/L64 mods there. I will promise to credit and link the origin of the model to this

The weapon isn't being sold at the Gun Runners yet and i'm level 40. Nor is it being spawned on NCR or Legion. Can you tell the the item code so that i may spawn it? Thanks!

I've recently bought a new PC, so I have to re-download all my tools and such first, but once I've done that I shall be right back with the answer!

The reference for the gun is xx000ADF & the mods are as follows: Alloy Bolt - xx00334c, Extended Mags - xx00334a & Improved Rifling - xx00334b.

What programs did you use? I have used blender for nif scope models but I haven't ever built my own.

Blender for the mesh, Paint.net for the texture, and NifSkope for finalizing. In retrospect, Blender is probably the best modelling tool available for regular Joe's. It has all you could possibly need, and more! Also, may I ask how you got the defunct suppressor mesh to appear/work? Thanks in advance!

Are you planning to add silenced versions as an update?
I noticed there were meshes for them that were larger than the standard meshes and had the muzzle flash in the right place for a suppressor but no actual modelled supressor.
I think it would be really awesome if you could

I originally had no plans to include mods when I built the model. It was only after a few days of playing with it that I decided it needed more. that being said, I couldn't get the suppressor mesh to appear in-game. After some experimenting with swapping meshes and smashing my head on my desk, I decided to just leave it out. I'm pretty sure I know how to get it to work, but at this stage I'm not too fussed. I'll have a butchers at the files and see what I can do though, so check back in about a week or two.

Well that's funny, I got weapon mods to work but I haven't done a scratch made model yet.

the weapon looks really good but if u wanna improve the weapons appearance u could add stuff like magazine release catch and other things like that just make it look even better

Yes, compatible with all 5mm ammunition types.

Maybe it's just me but the gun feels really long? From the grip backwards, I mean. The proportionals feel off to me, given how much it looks like an L85. I think it's that the magazine is a little too far back? Can't quite put my finger on it exactly.

That's the way the goon looked in real life, it was an experimental gun that would've fired a 4.7mm round.

I think it may be due to the straight nature of the lower receiver. The SA80 family of weapons feature a slight incline on the lower receiver, making them look a little larger. Either way, I think it's part of what makes this gun such a distinct and unique firearm!

Fantastic work! Any plans to do any more classic fallout weapons?

No plans as of yet, unfortunately. Whilst I do have interest in the classic weapons, a lot of them have already been made by other users, so it seems a little pointless. Sorry!

what <edited> is going on with her arm in first person!??! That's horrifying! And the rectile in the scope is upside down.

Using bad language when you provide feedback is the best way to get ignored by mod authors and to get caught in the crosshairs (or "reticle") if your post is reported to the moderators.

That has nothing to do with the weapon and everything to do with the animation. Try not to be a rude ass and learn how to pass criticism in a civilised way.

The animation was originally used for Joefoxx's WA2000, which is why the handguard grip is a little funky. I do also have the enhanced camera mod on, which doesn't help much. Apologies, but I can only do so much with what I've got. Personally I'm just glad that there IS a bullpup animation available to us. Also the reticule isn't upside down, it was designed that way to make target acquisition easier. By placing the post at the top of the scope, it doesn't obscure any targets you may be attempting to acquire. This type of reticule was actually adopted by the British army in the form of the SUIT sight, and was used in conjunction with the L1A1 SLR by designated marksmen. Hope this helps!

if you haven't seen the British weapon irl then dont say anything as this is the l85A2 the British rifle and the scope is sometimes upside down depending on what the scope is
