BLIND v2

HP bars back!
Embedded menu for non-MCM users!

The update you've been waiting for

V2 swag :
New 'old style' settings menu for those without MCM! (under Apparel)
Number size options (requires JIP)
Holograms and other invincible creatures unaffected!
Healthbars (HP Bar) back! (use mods like iHud ect if you'd like to get rid of default UI-based hud ones)
Script optimization to prevent disable on cell-change.
Debug mode configurable via file (\config\BLIND.ini) > OK
New check to disable when swimming (because Gamebryo...yah)
Advanced options-scanner parameters! (for those living in paranoia)

additional notes

1) Healthbars are known information in your HUD. Your Pipboy has always told you how much damage (in numbers) your Weapons do.
Bam! BLIND makes more sense now!

2) To unlock this mod with the Wild Wasteland Perk :
a) get the perk.
b) open BLIND's menu.
c) enable BLIND!

3) To make BLIND work in FO3:
use TTW!

4) To change #'s color or font:
Edit the 600+ nifs, or the 300+ textures!

BLIND does not work with ''Zan AutoPurge" mod. PCB/Purging wrecks scripts

that mod has been deleted and it doesn't seem like there's any sort of replacement for it

I've been using this mod and AutoPurge without issue for years, unless the permanent health bar is caused by that
I wanted to try and use this for FO3 but TTW is trash

You are going against consensus by implying that you can run BLIND with no issues, despite the author specifically saying BLIND and Autopurge are incompatible.  The permanent health-bar is one of the many issues that is present in this mod without even mentioning the way it interacts with other plugins.

The fact that there are modern alternatives available on Nexus makes BLIND obsolete.

Also there is no need to call ambitious projects that have been worked on for tens of thousands of hours- "trash"

I see a lot of issues with this mod from reading this forum. Is there a mod that only adds the skull & crossbones effect? That's all I'm interested in.

Personally I use this mod and reduce the script timer (in the mod configuration menu) from every 1sec and 0.1secs, to every 3sec and 0.3secs

I didn't experience any lag or crashes before my changes (and haven't since either), but better safe than sorry

This is a really good mod, I just hope the bugs can be eradicated like the permanent health bars lingering at some places and disappearing npcs, but until then I will sadly have to disable the mod until it's updated hopefully sooner rather than later because I really enjoy the health regen and radiation accumulation particle effects.

The viva new vegas modding guide actually mentions this mod as being one in a list of mods to avoid:
Causes save bloat due to not destructing its strings. Also can be very performance intensive due to constantly-running scripts and has a bug that can cause NPCs to teleport directly to you upon entering an interior.
