Hotkeys for Chatpad v0.2 by Bones
===================================
-----------------------------------

-----------
Important
-----------

The concept of this mod is taken from LangyMD's Expanded Hotkeys mod. Thank you very much to LangyMD and all credit should go to them.

This mod requires NVSE!

Q) WIll it work for keyboard or is it just for Chatpad?

A) Yes it will work with a normal keyboard but you will need to reassign the ammo change key
and number 7 and 8 will be the same. LangyMD's is a better mod for non Chatpad.

-------------------------------------------
What is this mod and how is it different?
-------------------------------------------

LangyMD's is great as I said but I use a Chatpad attachment for the Xbox 360 controller. (Awaiting the abuse for not using mouse and keyboard)

First problem with the Chatpad is, it's a mother to set up. Especially wirelessly.
Second problem, once you've got it set up. The game is in controller mode and won't respond to the 1 to 8 numbers for hotkeys.
Third problem, you don't have a ctrl or alt key. Also you only have one shift key. This makes it a little tricky for hotkey bindings.

---------------------
How does this work?
---------------------

Standard Hotkeys
----------------
Press numbers 1 to 7 for all your standard hotkeys.

Add a Custom Hotkey
-------------------
1) Press left shift to start hotkey assignment.
2a) Ater left shift is pressed, press a letter to assign hotkey 1 to that letter.
2b) Or press Backspace to cancel assignment.
3) If not cancelled, that letter is now a hotkey.

Remove a Custom Hotkey
----------------------
1) Press Backspace to start hotkey removal.
2a) After Backspace is pressed, press the letter you want to remove the hotkey from.
2b) Or press Left Shift to cancel removal.
3) If not cancelled, that letter is no longer a hotkey.

If it isn't Working anymore
---------------------------
If it was working and has just stopped working, press Left Shift and Backspace together and a message should appear saying it's been reset.
If you don't get that message either NVSE is not loaded / working or you have a mod conflict.

Using this Mod
----------------

LangyMD said it's okay to and nice but not necessary to give him credit. I feel the same. I've added lots of comments and made it as simple as I could.

-------------------------
How this mod is created
-------------------------

1) A cell is created in the world. Click on the World dropdown at the top. (File, Edit, View, World) Then click cells...

2) Create a new cell. (right click new) Make sure you remember the world space you created it in. Give it an Id but leave the rest as default.

3) Go to the Cell View. (Cell View Window) Select the world space you created your cell and find your Id and double click it.

4) This puts it in the render window.

5) Create a container with an image, the rest default. (loads on the web about how to do that if you're struggling)

6) Now from the object window, click (and hold) and drag your container into the Render Window. You will also see it appear in the Cell View.

7) Either double click in the Render Window or Cell View to bring up the reference. Give it an Id. (Top field that is blank)

8) Create a form list. (again loads on this on the web) Give the form list an Id.

9) Now from the cell view, click (and hold) and drag your reference into your list.

10) Double check that you've done it correctly by double clicking the new entry in the list. Should be a reference and not container.

From there you just need to reference it in the code. You need a reference for each hotkey. Chatpad Hotkeys has 26 for example.
