I think a couple reasons as to why this mod doesn't have as many endorsements as it should; 1) By default it forces the user to remap the F5 quick save key. 2) Changing any of the keys requires using FNVEdit or GECK, because they are hard coded rather than a config file. 3) The key scan codes don't seem to be a well used standard. After several hours looking for the F4 key code that equals "62", I was not able to find it. Adding a link to the scan codes, or a text file listing for a qwerty keyboard would have been very helpful.
But, I worked at this for several hours because I HATE the rain and thunder. I just want straight sunlight in a desert environment. That said, this is the only weather mod that seems to work for a consistent clear sky. I've tried all that are currently on the Nexus. Every other weather mod seems to want to add rain and electrical storms, which is exactly what I want to remove.
Ahem, gromulos, I ran into a problem. I like to use this clear weather, you see (the kinda teal/blueish hue, like in your "after" picture). But sometimes it auto-changes to another kind of weather. And, sometimes, while using the clear weather option, the screen gets darker - AND SOMETIMES IT GETS COMPLETELY BLACK, WITH ONLY HUD VISIBLE, LOL.
So how do I solve this? Simply, I switch to another kind of weather, then I do somewhere I could sleep (using the Lonesome Road Bedroll Kit also works) and I sleep for some 4-6 hrs. And VOILA. it's normal again.
So here I am. You say this can be used with DUST. So, let's do it. All that darkness makes me feel depressive. And why so few ppl DLed this? Will be back when I try it. I left you a message on DUST thread.
