Question, is this compatible with mods that modify the player home in Novac? Such as one of the factions Reloaded mods or the Willow mod. And is this cleaned up in FNVEdit? If not, then what dirty edits shouldn't i remove?
I saw the Goodsprings school fence was still broken, may I suggest cleaning that and maybe making it more straight? Also, maybe you could go to more of the main quest areas of the game and do those Like Repconn test site for one
It's possible that someone may have repaired it to make it look nicer, but like you said, if there's nobody living there it probably wouldn't happen.
Also, the fence and schoolhouse are a single object, so I would have to edit it in NifSkope. I'd also like to avoid conflicts with 'After School Special' so I probably wont be touching it.
The Repconn test site is uninhabited. The ghouls are only there temporarily, so they probably wouldn't have moved too much stuff.
The changes in this mod will only relate to settlements, and they should make sense depending on the location and type of people that live there. e.g Freeside and Westside are slums so you would expect them to be messy. The same goes for Bitter springs and Aerotech Park which are refugee camps.
Novac is a scavenger settlement, scavenged parts and machines and such is their main industry, and the Repconn test site was their main scavenging site until the ghouls moved in. So maybe just clean up the main floors of the admin building to reflect that its already been well picked over?
Been around a bit. At first GS seemed a bit bare. But I got used to it - fast- and the general feel - to me at least- is that it was always that way. In all three places. You did not go overboard with this one. Just enough to make a difference. It's a keeper Endorsed and Kudos for making and sharing.
I like what you've done here. It makes sense. The problem - for me- is that I've got at least three houses in GS. And I know of quite a few Novac room mods as well. Maybe it would be better to upload each location as a separate mod - though I don't know how much work it will take on your part.
This mod should, in theory, actually help things like house mods. I've both made and used mods that replaced certain destroyed houses, and occasionally the destroyed house would overlap and protrude from the new building.

If I was to do separate mods, I could just load it up in FNVEdit and delete changes for a particular settlement.
