someone needs to bring this back and turn it into a quest mod along with adding packs of wild dogs since in the lore this place is absolutely over run by them
For some reason when i try to get into Doc mitchell's house with the Denver mod, it crashes. I think something is conflicting with it and thus banning me from entering Doc mitchel's house.
Looks nice. Although, as someone from the area, gotta say that naming the stadium 'Sports Authority' is a damn shame. Should have gone for something more retro than that. Invesco Field at least, Mile High Stadium at best. Sports Authority pulls people into the real world and out of the Fallout world. On second thought, maybe a 'Fallout World' type name from one of the pre-war corporations would have been good. Like Poseidon Stadium or something along those lines.
The sandstorms thicken during the night and become far less intense during the day. Therefore, the streets can be viewed more easily during the day. Or, if you want to see things from a higher vantage point, then just add those vantage points with scaffolding... that's why I released an Esm version.
This mod is highly malleable, and with a simple esp to the esm you can change it to suit your needs.
The mod looks promising but I have issues with some of the premise. Denver is the mile high city, its to cold there for palm trees and sandstorms. Its not a desert area, its more like plains and tundra. Even with a nuclear war where would all this sand come from. Why not have it snowed in instead. Just my 2 cents, but why is it everyone thinks Bethesda idea of a nuclear aftermath is correct or they need to follow it.
Practical reasons mostly. I didn't want it to be so similar to Manhattan when it came to the snow so I went with Resident Evil knockoff of Vegas with the city being buried under sand dunes. Also, it fits Robert Helms original concept design. Other than that, yeah... it should really be snow.
Yes and the Resident Evil thing from the movie was completely dumb as well. Las Vegas is not in that kind of desert. There isn't enough sand around the area to bury much of the curbs much less the whole city. One thing that irks me about the film. But I just look at it as strange creative license. Ah the things people think the world would look like after such a war were to occur. I think you should have taken your creative license and based it on your own twist no matter what other have done. Again just my thoughts on it.
You could create an esp to the esm and delete the sandstorms, or... you could just load up my token esp and delete them for your own projects. Their are two sandstorms (the white blocks) used in the design, you just have to delete them and no more sandstorms.
wile this does not fit in with the van burren concept of denver, this is a very good resource. even with no quests, it is great to just add mobs and loot and just explore. in the fallout world denver does not have settlements due to it being dangerous and it is a prime location for scavengers. wile i do feel snow would be a nice addition i feel it is unessisary. i feel this is one of the best resources on the nexus due to the fact that it is properly nav meshed. i have tested many resources and that is what it always comes down to. i spend more time trying to go back through and nave mesh areas then i do adding life. great job, you have my endorsement. if you have any interest in adding more to it let me know and i would be glad to assist

Oh sorry...
Not really...
I can't help that it's true.

Other than that minor quibble, looks real nice.
