I'm not sure if the download is working properly, I keep getting "unknown format or damage" errors. If anyone knows what is causing this, I could use some help.
It's been a while since I've done this quest, but I'm pretty sure if you're on Veronica's quest "I could make you care" while doing this one, you could bring the data to the brotherhood instead.
Don't remember if it changes the dialogue options with Hildern though.
It would honestly make the most sense to bring it to the Followers, in my opinion. They would use it for the right reasons. Could you add that as part of the mod maybe?
I can't promise anything, but I could certainly try when I have some spare time. If you track the mod, you will be able to see if it gets updated. I might have some free time next weekend so I'll have a go then.
Perhaps you could add a little interior cell somewhere. After getting the tape, you can start growing plants there yourself. Which means you could add plants inside, the same as those in the vault, minus carnivorous ones. In regular intervals you could visit your garden and harvest some apples, pears, carrots, potatoes, etc.
You could add one Mister Handy robot as gardener and take fruits from him, to make things simple.
Maybe you could make it so that keeping it is useful too? Like doing the research yourself (100 science requirement) gives you an awesome perk or something?
