I doubt it as it's really not polished enough. It's more of an interesting curio of cut content that there was just enough remaining that it was sad to be left unused which is why I restored it. The explosion itself and the crashed dish are fine though they serve no real purpose.
This is really cool, will certainly be tracking this. I'll download and endorse when I can. I have no idea why the developers take this stuff out, it's the stuff like this that makes the game feel more lively. Anyways, keep up the great work
Admittedly it's only a tiny little scene, but the dish explosion is still worth having.
I would guess that this was supposed to happen during the quest "Eyesight to the Blind". Perhaps at one point the player would be asked to realign the dishes in addition to placing the Remote Signal Transmitter. It was probably cut fairly early on judging by the absence of any voice files and how unfinished it feels.
The majority of the scripting for this scene was still there, though it did need some polishing, and could still have been done better than how it ended up. I'd have preferred it if there was more to restore here, but that's pretty much all that was left.
