Description
---------------
Requires NVSE

Almost requires New Vegas - Re-Animated  http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35028/?
While not strictly required, the default animation of the walk makes Courier Six look like he has yet to recover from his head wound.
New Vegas - Re-Animated is a much better walk animation; Courier Six now strides like a man with a mission.

This mod will cause characters to walk faster while outdoors or in combat.

This is a conversion of my Fallout 3 mod of the same name to New Vegas.  The settings are a little different.

Detail
---------
Purposeful Walking will cause Courier Six to set his stride as if he had somewhere to go when hiking across the Wastelands instead of puttering along whilst staring at his feet.  Indoors, he will revert to a slower stride unless he gets in a fight.

Sneaking and running speeds should be the same inside or out using this mod (or very close).

I made this mod because I never fast travel and got tired of the Lone Wanderer in Fallout 3 hiking like he was walking through Jell-O.  Courier Six stumbles along like he is still woozy from being shot in the head.  Other mods I found to speed up the walking made the change constant, which made it sometimes difficult to navigate in close quarters inside without causing an NPC to rage about something getting bumped (plus it just seemed inappropriate to move so fast inside).

Known issues and bugs
------------------------
No bugs.  It will take a couple of seconds for Courier Six to change his stride after walking through a door.  The only way to avoid this would be to make this script run with less than the default delay and that might put undue stress on the system.

The .esp was checked in FNVEdit to ensure that the GECK did not commit any silliness.

Incompatibilities
--------------------
This mod should be compatible with any mod, except ones that do something similar.
