Ok, don't know if you still have this problem, but i've found a solution for mine. (I basically had the same whitescreen on new game).
You need to put dustsurvivalsimulator.esp on the end of your mod load order, i used vortex and here's how i did it: 1. Turn off Autosort. 2. Double click the dustsurvivalsimulator.esp, you'll see a tab on the right pop up, go to the bottom and enable Locked to Index, put in the value of the last load order (Mine is 28, and i have 28 plugins).
