   Okay sooo, is the Sierra Madre actually a place I can go? Or am I just wandering around and going crazy? I've been everywhere else aaaand I have reason to believe I am supposed to get the the Madre somehow...

      You can get to the Madre, but not by your own choice. If you get there, it will be by accident. If you keep on your path to escaping the Mojave, you may eventually encounter the Madre.
