I've been playing NV with this mod and noticed an interesting... I'm not sure if it's a bug per se, but I'll call it that for sake of noting what is happening. Basically, I noticed that if you bring Boone along (I haven't tried aggroing them without Boone in tow) and happen to get within range of one of these bases, as soon as Boone attacks the legionnaires stationed at the base you immediately fail the Legion questline entirely. For the record, I haven't received the Mark of Caesar yet; it acts the same way as if you kill the ambassador or Colonel Moore before getting the pardon from the NCR. It's not a big problem for me this playthrough, since I'm not siding with the Legion, but it's something I figured needed to be brought to someone's attention. Now, I've been playing with multiple Legion mods, but I've narrowed it down to this one (because I first noticed this happen at the Goodsprings schoolhouse base when I happened to stop in Goodsprings with Boone). Just figured I'd make everyone interested in playing this mod aware of that.
'Oh no its the deangeorus legion' wait what? How come the NCR, powder gangers have more camps than this dangerous legion. Born from 7 tribes there really is a lack of legion presence in new vegas I'm glad this fixes it
Well considering the Legion is mostly to the east of the river and the NCR is holding the west against them (i.e. our gameplay area), it makes sense for the NCR to have more presence in Vegas.
I really like the idea of this mod; you're right in that there is way too little of a Legion presence in the Mojave. However, I can't use this mod; a Legion camp in the middle of Goodsprings is just... no. Just no. That breaks the lore way too hard for me.
I'll be finishing my mod in december, it'll be another good one for your legion playthrough, it expands the fort (opens up the beachhead) and navmeshed as well.
