- You don't need for Cazy's Hair all the hair pieces in the folder if you are not using Cazy's hair mod. This mod contains the texture folder by itself but it still need the hair meshes: c24.nif , c24.egm and place them into your meshes folders right path>> Fallout New Vegas\Data\meshes\characters\cazyhair
---------------------- Incompatibility: ---------------------- This is not compatible with any other mod that changes Willows appearance
Does anyone, aside from the mod creator, and one other guy, know how to install this mod? Please be explicit because the installation instructions are uninformative...post the EXACT pathway, please.
i updated the mod. Is now easier to install this mod. You only need to install willow companion mod & Cazy hair first and then install MD Willow of your choice
I MD Willow has THE best face in the game! Install went really well...kinda; I downloaded the blonde willow and her hair was white. Like white white! So I downloaded the brunette and she was spot on. When I turned around, though, I saw that the mod I have for Veronica gets broken by the Crazy Hair mod, which is unfortunate, but maybe I can find a suitable replacement mod for her. I'm going to try your recommendation in the pinned comment, and just use those particular meshes...hopefully that'll do it.
if you're using a bashed patch her new look might be getting overwritten by it. A lot of character appearances/addon scripts can get overwritten if you just use default bash options. You'll need to edit the appearance entries in your bashed patch with FNV edit. 1. open fnv edit and load your full load order 2. find NVWillow in the modlist on the left side 3. go to the non player character list 4. open willow's entry and it will show all the mods editing anything about her 5. scroll down looking for any items that aren't green and look at what they're changing 6. drag and drop entries (or enter manually if you don't want to create new required masters) as you see fit to make the toon what you want them to be.
I love the looks of Willow, being a huge fan of Heather Casden over on FO4, it was a no brainer to get Willow. But I had to find an updated look for her instead of her 2011-2016 look and here I am.
1 question: if it is possible to have a choice of the 3 different eye colors for the hair color choices? I'm a sucker for Black hair with Blue eyes, and it's a bonus for me if it's Black hair with Ice Blue eyes.
the easiest way is to rename the hair and textures from the one you prefer into the names that this mod is using & replace them . It should work. Other way is using the geck and replace there the hair models this mod is using with the one you like, you need too place the mesh and texture in the hair folder before you can replace them with the hair you like to use.
I have a following problem. After installing MD Mod with red hair, my companion has change the face (and it's great!) but the hair, which also changed to long one, did not become red. It's grey-haired. It's look like vey unusual and it can be played this way, but red is worth her better, no drought. The following way of installation was made: Clear FNV:ToTW MCM Type 3 bodies Willow MD Delight Delighted Addon Cazy Hair No other mods was installed! I assume the problem with the Crazy hair, but the thing is that the hair itself change. Only the color lost. Can you please, advice why it may be?
If you have Tale of Two Wastelands, you can take Willow there anyway although she will have no comments about it. If you are talking about adding this mod to Fallout 3, that will not happen because the basic Willow mod upon which this mod depends is never going to be a mod for that game unless LlamaRCA has a radical change of position.
No worries, I can make the changes myself. Put Willow in Fo3 2 years back lost the file to a wipe. You should check out my port for TTW Megaton Return.
Willow is not my mod in the first place, so it is not up to me for adding Willow to FO3 world, for myself i use TTW and can bring any follower from NV to DC or otherway arround. Ofcourse if Ilama ever desides or create a follower like Willow for DC i will create an Gloss House Version of her to ofcours.
I was just being lazy and asking in a roundabout way if you had an esp made. I have since made a esp, I still have to work on the details cause well Willow runs off to Nevada from Megaton haha.
So I decided...I'll just drop a Doorway into the tent, and another in DC.
Then I wont have to go to The Mall to catch the train.
Looks good, can't get it to work for s#*! though even with all the necessary files placed into the data root folder and the other necessary items required for download. Shame
if you not can get it to work if you got all files and assets, then it is still not added right into you Data folder of Fallout NV folder. If it is intalled right, try to reset archive validation in NMM, sometimes it wont update texturefiles of mods , try other loadorder, maby other mod conflict with MD mods
It certainly made Willow look much nicer and with all the other downloads recommended the hair for females looks great. I was having issues with Willow's eyes when I first installed the Willow mod which begun my hunt to retex Willow which led me here.
the hat is one of the item you can remove right after she follows you from her inventory, i never use the hat for Willow at all , hats and hair are always a difficulty
I also received the same problems, its because the texture path is linked to a different place. Ill explain how you can fix the issue using the geck :p
>Open the geck and load up the esp. Simply head to character at the top on character and hit the race tab. From here a box should pop up saying the list of races on the left hand side along with character data. You now want to look on the list on the left hand side and click on willow race. Now you clicked on her check the right side and click on the tab- face data. This should now list you a list of models and textures. Simply click on the edit button for "Teeth upper" and "teeth lower" make sure u clicked on textures and not the meshes. Then what i did where redirected it the the correct textures. so for me your looking at Data>Textures> Character>Mouth. Thats your general location for your standard teeth to be. And Click on the correct textures for the edit button you clicked on so for example for me it were TFH_teethlowerhuman.dds for the teeth lower section and TFH_teethupperhuman.dds for the upper texture. Once thats done hit ok button then save it. Should be sorted after this
as i already told in description, ofcourse there must be something i missed my folders are huge and simple to oversee something. i will look at it later this evening after diner and update the mod asap
I was able to fix the teeth thing using the suggestion, but for some reason the body becomes invisible except for the head, feet and hands when she does her dance.
Yeah. Saw this...Familiar enough with the GECK to fix these on my own...The textures/meshes mistakes are simple enough fixes...and I've already stated on Llama's Willow page how much I love Willow....I do like the modifications Xazomn made here. Just need to tweak the errors you made in the GECK...and all will be good. I like how Xazomn gave other hair color options.....tho for some reason I like Willow best as a blond...hehe
Did notice some clipping on Willow's hat with the hair initially...but I just took her hat away and pretended I never saw it. hehe I might give her a Type N body or something. Easier and quicker then trying to extract the BSA for Willow's actual body from there
still needs some little tweaks on this mod, but i got it so busy, i changed willows headmesh into MD headmesh but forgotten to do the mouth to to set it on Mojave Delight assets. i will change this asap

Hello Xazomn!
Is there a way that i can change her hair with your MD face?
I can change it with her default face, but with your mod i don't know how or where to begin with.
Can you point me somehow?
Amazing work!
