For some reason, these binoculars barely zoom at all when used in first person for me while working fine in third person? I have the 3rd person camera overhaul if that could be a reason
I'm not holding anything . . .???? I can equip the Bino's from the Weapons menu & from the Hotkey I've assigned and I can get the optical view when 'using' them but no actual "model" loads and thus my hands are empty - it's not game-breaking but it's a bit disconcerting immersion-wise . . . I used 7z to unzip the Mod, I C&P'ed the Meshes, Textures & ESP into FNV/Data, I used FOMM to Activate the ESP, checked the Load Order with LOOT and did the ArchiveInvalidation thing twice to be certain. Among the 40+ Mods I've got installed I'm using Weapons of the New Millennia & the WAR Animations Replacer if that's any help . . .
Not that I'm aware of. This is a list of installed Mods to date. All of them were laid over the top of a Clean Install of the Vanilla + All DLC. I have LOOTed all the way through and there are no other problems. As I say it's not game-breaking, I'm just curious as to the why's and wherefore's of it . . . I don't see anything obvious that would cause conflicts. I'm honestly a bit stumped. The only advice I can give you is either moving it up in your load order or disabling all your mods and slowly activating them until you find out where the conflict is. Sorry that I don't have a definitive answer!
There is a metric crapton of binocular adjusting mods, but I think this one is the best combination of being functional and easy to install/low conflict. I also like that you craft night vision binoculars instead of most mods that include that which just give them to you.
Superbly done. Thanks for such a great mod. This brings true usefulness to the standard binoculars and an incredibly lore-friendly method of upgrading the binoculars to night vision capacity.
