    Sticky
After getting every perk available, the game just skips the perks screen.
So in essence, if you have every skill maxed, and every perk attained, the only thing that pops up is the skills window.
As to whether it skips the perk screen with a perk that's UNATTAINABLE, I'm not sure.

    EDIT:
As I've just discovered in the Mad Science mod's Brain Hunter perk, you cannot get a perk if the conditions have not been met, thus essentially sticking you to the perk/skill screen indefinitely.
Essentially, it's Quest Stage and/or perks that require a low-derived stat (SPECIAL and Skills, mainly), that this script could prove to be a nuisance, so use with caution.

Does anyone know if this works if you have no DLCs so your max level cap is 30?

    the resetxp command is awful
it'll take 186,200 xp to get to level 50 again, instead of the 7400 which are needed from 49 to 50 -.-
I'd propose using player.rewardxp <number> as to get closer to a fair value. Problem is this <number> gets a % added on top depending on perks, effects and other modifiers, I get +10% right now for example, so I'm gonna use ~162,550.

      Yeah, I know.
It's just a quick/dirty way to repeat levels, but, in all fairness, if you have every rank of Swift Learner/experience booster perks and effects, it won't take long.
In alternative fashion, you could possibly put this script to use AS a perk/trait in of itself, if you really want to use it "immersively."

      Sorry for the late reply.

I mean in the sense that, if you don't have the prerequisites the perk requires, you're stuck to the perk screen indefinitely.

Perks that require skills, SPECIAL's, Quest Stages, the "Less than" Operator (Four Eyes Trait: INT<4, Weapon Handling: STR<7), and other perks.

Basically, it's a rush against getting things done, and how long you can hold out before you're stuck to the Perks screen, where you cannot select any perks.

Now, I could edit this script where, if you don't meet any requirements yet, the perks screen could be skipped, but I would have to include every mod that has perks in them. Or rather, I would have to set up SOME WAY to check the player's stats globally against any and all perk requirements, removing them from the perks screen, so you could pass through it, or don't make the perks screen show up at all. I could, maybe, edit the iPerksPerLevel game setting.

The default Fallout New Vegas Game Settings (iPerksPerLevel=2, if I remember correctly), as previously stated, can get you a perk every other level, thus rendering pretty much all the perks unlocked, because you can keep pace with the requirements.

Really, it's a rough draft of how I can bypass the level lock of 50 so I can repeat the level over and over again, rather than crash the game every time I load a save past level 50. The game really doesn't like it when things try to go past hard-code limits.

Does this work if you are already at level 50?

Edit: It did not work for me until I used the console to lower my level back to 49, but it works just fine at one I did that. Thanks for the mod.

I've never used a mod that puts level above 50. And this since mod just repeats level 49, I guess i can ask here.

What happens if I no longer need any skill points?

The game's hardcoded to level 50, so after level 51, any save you load will crash, this circumvents that crash by just resetting the experience to a previous level.

Skill points, as Pokepika01 stated, are skipped if you have them maxed out, as for perks, I'm not sure, I guess I could include a Form List to say:
"Okay, you have every perk on your character, no more leveling for you."
The problem with that is, you'd need just about every mod that adds/removes perks, so it'd be highly inefficient.

    It doesn't appear to work.

It's a MenuMode, specifically the level-up menu (1027), you can check via the console to see if you're level 49, or your Pip-Boy.

What doesn't really work is the ResetXP command, as it resets experience back to zero, so yes, you'll have a fun time trying to level up.
As stated in the description, you can edit it out of the script, because the setlevel command automatically puts the minimum experience back when you leveled up from 48.

If all skills are maxed out, you just go on to pick your perks.
