Nicely done. Very useful. The layout makes sense and does nicely for both rolepalying and screen shooting. OP - it sure is with all the goodies you've added. But nobody puts it in your stash on entering, so it is up to YOU if you want to use it. Or leave just as sparsely equipped as when you came. Normally I make use of Willow's bungalow. But this will defintely find its way into my load order the next time too
Thanks Bernt. I don't stop by so much anymore, but still pick up FONV (fully modded of course) on occasion. Still a glorius game. I appreciate your comments and support.
Here's another Strong Approval of this mod. (I'll be endorsing both this mod and your Goodsprings compound in just a bit, by the way.)
At first blush, these compounds may seem like a touch of OP -- but if you think about it, it really does make sense that a character who's resourceful enough to have done all that the Courier has done, both before and during the events of FNV's storyline, would have amassed a serious resource pool in the Mojave -- in particular, the Goodsprings compound explains what the Courier was even doing in Goodsprings when Benny and the Khans caught him/her -- and why House planted a Securitron overseer in that particular town. In fact, it adds an entire layer of irony/tragedy to the Courier's story -- captured and almost killed a scant few minutes walking distance from home. Where else would the Courier fall prey to the false sense of security it would take to allow that to happen?
Everybody else has touched on how stellar the quality of the mod itself is; I'm blown away by how unexpectedly well this mod (and the Novac counterpart) tie in to the storyline and actually improve its believability.
If I had one request for future installments, I'd request similar compounds (similar in size and material resources, that is) strategically placed near Boulder City and near Westside.
If I was only allowed to use two words to describe your compound mods, those words would be...f***ing sexy.
Well done, and I do mean a job damn well done. If I were to ever try to imagine how I'd ever want to set up house mods in this game, man, you hit the nail on the head, and you used a Mini-Nuke to do it.
Truthfully, no amount of a "thank you" I feel is enough to express the gratitude I have for something like this, but, thank you!
Dunno about Redux, but Reborn adds an NPC house that, if you install this mod, will get removed, and adds a fence that screws with one of the guard tower plank paths.
Alright, what have you done? I tried other mods that add an AR-15/Survivalist rifle, and nothing compares with what yours is. I keep coming back to it. I love the charm of the sights, the bonuses, and the look of the Courier 6 Survivalist Rifle. Nicely done .
HA. Thought you'd like it. You asked for it, so I felt obligated to get it in somewhere.
Hmmm...all I did was adjust the spread down, slightly increase Crit DAM, lowered the AP cost by 5, and increased based DAM by 12 and DPS by about 47. Totally realistic for such a large round and a high firing rate. Add in a better firing sound, and its practically a new rifle!
Its sort of like having the Grunt perk on without actually taking it. Take the Grunt perk, and its a total powerhouse.
Both compound mods are amazing, I've looked at them both and the level of detail on where you put everything is amazingly organized, making it so much easier to navigate where everything is for what purpose I need it with! Thank you Barbarossa!
I have your Goodsprings mod, havent had time to try this one yet
Question - does or will your compounds all come with a Mojave Express Dropbox (or something similar) so that we can more easily and quickly transfer items between the compounds?
No, I didn't add an Express Dropbox system. And really the only reason I didn't is because I've had bad game experiences (CTD, etc) with them, like I have had with sorters. Just a personal quirk of mine to keep scripting to a minimum in my house mods to ensure rock-solid stability. If enough folks ask for it though, I may insert a system later, after I've tested it rigorously, because like I said stability is one of my top two priorities. The longer I work on the other compounds though (four more to come) I have been thinking about inserting a shared container between the compounds/safehouses, which is essentially the same thing. So, more to come on that front.

Compatibility with Novac Redux or Reborn?

Glad you like it.
Yeah, it is a powerhouse. But then, the original is nothing to sneeze at. So bringing in the original into something bigger makes sense.
Best Regards.
All I really wanted to say was that as long as you have the Ultimate Edition or at least have DL'd all DLCs, then you're good to go.
EDIT: Just entered a support ticket to get that accidental block reversed. Again, my apologies...I'm an idiot.
Best regards,
Barbarossa
And it's cool we all mistake sometimes.
As for the DLC thing I'm too poor fo dat XD My game was gifted to me... without the DLC's XD
