My mom got one then dumped it on me. Boy was I wrong. Best dog I ever had. Not sure what he's best at besides socially engineering humans, though.
if anyone cares, I started work on a new texture for the huskies today and it looks pretty good so far. itll end up looking way better this time as im going to put a lot more work and time into it. I didn't reinstall my programs im just doing it on a flat art program however it seems to be turning out a lot better this way as this is the type of painting im used to
while reinstalling the mod to make a fast video for you guys I saw that the texture files are not in the right place but don't worry about it just do this in your game data folder open textures, then open creatures, then open dog, in that dog folder should be my 4 textures which are huskybody.dds huskybody_n.dds huskyback.dds and huskyback_n.dds. all you have to do is make a new folder in the dog folder and name it "husky" then drop my 4 "dds" files in there and that's it.
also I posted a video of my house and the huskies but youtube killed my auto.. =| I would of done it again but I don't have time right now. anyway these mods make my apartment: Bonds Bonnie Springs Emporium by Bond123 (that's some of the décor) A Pre War Novac Home by lip1996 (that's the wallpaper, floor and ceiling though I edited a lot) Clintsters Washer and Dryer A modders Resource by clintster74 (which is the washer and dryer) NV Novac Apartment by VIPerMX (are some of the other décor and activators and is the base mod I expanded upon) Modders Resource GECK Alternatives by Trademark (the geck) Puppy Meshes - Modders Resource by WatersMoon110 (are the husky puppies)
maybe i'll ask lip1996 and vipermx later if I can post the mod but they will likely say no as I ripped there mod apart to make my own which is pretty disrespectful but I just wanted something more me.
Now I don't own a husky (I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix), but these look pretty good. As for the mesh, I'm rather puzzled- why create a new mesh rather than use the existing one for dogs already in the game? Are the breeds really that different? (note that this isn't a criticism, but an actual genuine question- not trying to offend anyone)

the mannaquin in screen 2 is from novac player house by vipier i know coz i do the same as jackalax download mods meshes and textures to use for myself i am in middle on modding house interiors by mantis and used a bunch other mods and resorces
thanx guys for the feed backs, to answer some of the questions. 1st the room where I took the screen shoots is my own mod, its in novac however I don't think I will be able to upload it or things like it that I make or have made because I use other peoples mods as resources when I make stuff for my self. I will post a video of it later here however while showing the huskies. 2nd I don't know much about other dogs but from what ive seen huskies do seem to have a buffer top, maybe because of years of running while pulling sleds idk. but I didn't make those meshes they are the mongrel mesh edited to be a little less hairy. I did this because as easy as it is to link a texture to a mesh its only easy if you mod, not everyone does so I tried to make it easy for people by having that work already done. also I picked the mongrel because they have a mane which adult huskies seem to have. when they are young but not puppies they look kind of like a normal dog and not so hairy, but once they are older they get like a hairy mane which makes them look alittle like a wolf. 3rd I guess nothing is wrong with me having something clean in fallout, I shouldn't even be one to talk as my room in that pic is dirt free.. looks like everything is brand new and I do love it. my brother thinks its dumb for my room to look like that, I tell him I had stuff imported with the gold bars I got, he said from where and why are my walls so clean. I assume not everyone in the waste just keeps things as they are some people might want to improve places, learn how to make wallpapers and use plaster and such. 4th the huskies do need more detail to the texturing, I had only started out when I was like hmm maybe I shouldn't do a husky after all but let me not throw away what I have so far as someone might want it. I might fix it up more but id have to reinstall 3ds max and nifscope because my textures aren't showing up on my mesh when im trying to edited it. and I cant do it on a flat art program because I wouldn't know what is where and which way the hairs would be flowing. anyway again thanx guys for the comments.
